Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

My fear coincides with confusion and then worry as the female before us starts shedding tears of helplessness. My ears pin in concern this time, feeling an urge to reach out to her yet afraid that she might tear my head off or something. Raylen seems mostly unaffected by everything, his wole body alert yet an air of uncertainty about him as he questions her presence.

I try to make out everything that could be going on behind those cloudy eyes, yet there's a fog there keeping me from seeing much of anything in her gaze, but her body stance is enough to tell me that just like me, she's afraid.

She turns her body to us, trying to explain that she tried to heal herself but to no avail. I duck my head in sympathy, wishing I knew something about healing but alas all I could tell her is to put some water on that side to clean out the wound and keep it from infection. Of course, any wolf with sense would know that remedy. Instead my helpless gaze flickers to Raylen, wondering what words of advise he will have for the girl.

She speaks her name, something starting with a Z but I'm not sure if I could pronounce it right even if I tried so instead I keep silent, biting my tongue and wondering if I should dismiss myself to let Raylen take care of this. I'm sure he'll know what to do, yet a pack instinct has me staying off to the side, not crowding his space as I'd caught myself doing a little bit before but still offering my support should he need it.

The female suddenly crouches over, pawing maniacally at her face as curse words stream out like confetti. My eyes widen in horror, wondering what atrocities could be happening to her. Is there more wounds than just her side? I feel my body shriveling a bit in overwhelmed confusion, unsure of how to act yet feeling the need to do something, anything.

Again, my gaze flickers to Raylen, wanting him to give me meaning, give me anything though he owes me nothing.
