Her hunt was going rather unsuccessfully. Finding her brother and bringing him to justice for abandoning his family was not going as planned. His scent had left this land, and Veda had no trail to follow. This left the fem with quiet a blunder. She knew she could not return without him, so, for now, she had to find something to do in this forsaken land until she picked up the trail again. This led the sneaky girl to the Traydon River. She was an expert at hiding amongst the shadows, even with her generally being a white lupine...and even with a small elf dragon attached to her back. Her nose picked up many scents in this land, and none of them brought her any satisfaction. Veda hated the rivers, and blamed them for Masamune's escape. Today, the only strong scent was that of a male...and curiosity, boredom, got the best of her. Veda had more urges than killing prey, the occasional social interaction with her kind was a nice change in the seemingly endless stream of time.

Swift paws moved lightly as her nose brought her close to where the male was. Veda got low to the ground, Valstan peeking between her ears, just as curious as his master. She peeked from behind a bush, her yellow, pupiless eyes could only make out the growling male between branches and other foliage. She had to get closer to get a better look. With the slightest head movement, Valstan knew to to slowly crawl off her back and hide. Veda grinned at her little dragon, before before his eyes her body began to fade and blend into her surroundings...like a chameleon.

The blessing covered female moved with a stunning amount of silence closer to the male. She moved extremely slowly, as she got closer and branches and bushes got out of the way, she noticed his body language. He was obviously irritated. The fem skillfully maneuvered herself toward a tree close to him, it was very unlikely that he would notice her with her use of the chameleon blessing. Her body hugged close to the tree as she watched him jump into the air to attack...a branch. Veda couldn't help but giggle, letting out a soft, dark, yet feminine laugh. Amusing. Using his energy on something as useless as a tree branch.
