The wolf-dog was glad to hear he wasn't alone in his wanderlust. It was a trait he'd inherited from his father, really, as far as he remembered; moving from place to place was a constant thing, but Cashel truly enjoyed the hollow ache to his paws after a day of wandering, the subtle pain that came from tired and strained muscles. It was something he took comfort in, and something that led him, night after night, to a heavenly kind of sleep, the kind of sleep only exhaustion could bring.

Of course, while his sleeps were usually deep, they were hardly ever restful; more often than not flashing fangs and shining eyes were regular components of his dreams and nightmares, those and the bloodless, bent corpses of his family. They were gruesome indeed, but Cashel didn't dwell on them. He saw them too often in his sleep to want to think of them when he was awake. "Coral Flower, huh?" he asked, familiar with the name only from his wanderings. Close to the pack the scent of the blossoms were near overwhelming, the lands proximal to the pack territory absolutely lovely and fragrant.

His slip up came, and he stood as she choked a little, her cough making him feel even worse. His ears pinned back and his tail tucked under his belly as he took a tentative step toward her. "Oh, gods, are you...?" he didn't finish, as she caught herself, and shrank back as she focused on him. His eyes flicked over her face, blushing, and he realized suddenly that he'd meant it - this two-toned femme was quite beautiful. "St-statement," he replied, quickly, with a nod as he sat back down at his place. His mind raced to think of a new subject. "So what's Coral Flower like?" he blurted, feeling progressively more and more like an idiot.
