Abraxas smiled. "Intoxicated." he echoed. "Pleasure to meet you."

The milky eyes looked like they could be blind, but what did it matter? To see or not to see, in the long run it made little difference, to Abraxas anyway.

He considered Toxic's question for a moment before answering his question with a slight shrug.
"I'm a storyteller." he said, with a wave of his whip like tail. "I may as well come here to spread my tales as anywhere else. It's all equally cold at this time of year."

As always, when he spoke his eyes seemed to bore straight through Intoxicated, staring through him as if he wasn't even there. There was no hint of blindness in those dark orbs; he simply seemed to be watching something nobody else could see.

"And yourself?" he asked with a tilt of his head. The borzoi was genuinely interested in why the other dog was here- with those wounds, there had to be some kind of fight involved in his recent past, and battles always made for good tales. Maybe he would be able to tell Intoxicated 's story in his travels, if it was interesting enough and the brute would actually tell him.

A bird took off on the opposite bank with a flurry of wings, and the storyteller tilted his head as though listening to the flutter of feathers, his bright eyes following it's flight into the blurred grey sky, like a bad charchoal drawing smudged by a clumsy hand.

The gold and white brute wondered what Intoxicated would  tell him. He could do with some more victories against the odds, and other heroic stuff like that. Preferably with plenty of bloodshed. Though judging by those wounds, Toxic had had too much of that already.

Abraxas rarely had a real battle of the sort that got you injured like that. Not to say he couldn't fight, though; his slender muzzlle concealed pure white, needle sharp teeth, and his mind was more than sharp enough to outsmart many of those who would take him for a weakling.

(Sorry, absolutely crap post, I know D: )
