Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

I find myself pacing the outskirts of Bright Moon, not because I'm looking for a way out but just because I'm looking for some quiet time. Not that I haven't already gotten enough of that lately. My mind has been lost in thought of everything that's happened recently. I wonder what Raylen's up to, first off. I haven't seen the golden boy in some weeks and something like concern is tightening in my chest. I also still find myself curious about Tamlin every so often. He's the alpha, or at least was when I joined, and yet I have yet to meet him.

It's not that I think I'm special or anything, I just want to know what he's like. I hear that the old alpha returned and she was to take back over but I haven't smelled her exotic scent in some time. All I know is that her name is Satowra. It seems to be whispered everywhere I go as if others worshipped her at one time. She must have been a great alpha. Maybe I'll get to ask Ray about her some day.

I wonder how Journey's doing lately. I haven't seen her since Ray and I welcomed her at the border and invited her to Ray's den. I volunteered to help her find her own den since she didn't want to take his and she joyously took me up on it yet we never got around to actually looking. I feel bad about that. Hopefully she's still around.

I also think of the female whose name I can't pronouce even now. All I know is she was very sad when I first met her and scared and she kept crying and saying that she was going blind. That would be an awful thing to happen. I know that her eyes did look a little foggy but I didn't think anything of it till she said something. Her eyes were beautiful beneath all the fog, I know that much. I wonder how she's doing and if she's adjusting to her new capabilites alright.

As I pace, I come across a new scent and find myself walking in that direction with a welcoming smile on my face. I may not hold a rank but I can at least make time to welcome a new member to Bright Moon's border, even if I can't give them clearance to come across it. Finding myself hoping that Ray will show up soon enough, I wave my tail in a friendly fashion as I come into sight of the male who stands at attention. Pricking my ivory ears, I nod my head in greeting and stop a few feet away to give him space. Bright golden eyes beam with contentment. Hello and welcome to Bright Moon. My name is Misty. I'm just an Omega here but I'm sure someone will be along shortly.
