My steady gaze lingered on Liquid as he, too, replied to Blazing Blade's question, and I nod with a low smirk on my face in agreement before turning to Clover. For the entire time being since we had arrived, the vixen's gaze had been a mixture of surprise and awe, but now she held a bit of a smile in her sage gazers as her line of vision paused on me. At the whisper of her words, a smile graced my dark colored dial, but yet that was all I could manage at the time of my surprise. Although Seline had left, I knew I would be under close inspections by her Satanican family, which indeed make me feel a sense of pride, but yet there was still a tinge of nervousness as though they would find they didn't like me. Snapping back from my thoughts, my obsidian audit flickered at the faint sound of Clover's voice. Another grin broke across my ebony kissers, "But I'm glad you did show up-perhaps you were my four leaf Clover ang gave me such luck," I winked her way, followed by a small chuckle before Frost Fawn had arrived by my side, ignoring Clover all together. It did bring some irratance to my facade, but it slid off enetually.
Wasting none of my time looking or listening to Kodiack, I watched how Liquid walked away, leaving me to deal with the few females who came to speak to me. Well, thankkss. That was supposed to be sarcastic, by the way, but I'm getting off track. Frost Fawn's eyes looked back to me, speaking to me as she did. Beta or gamma? Well, I wouldn't mind that at all! But I am sure the highest ranks will go to her family members, although there was a possible chance I could get a higher label. Either way, I was happy to be in such a land with such a family-hell,I could care less if I was a high prestiege, I would be content with an omega ranking if it were the choice to have a family to deal with. The ivory ess stopped in mid-sentence, turnign to th estranger who approached each of us in greeting, saying hello in a friendly way, but yet Frost's response was anything but in a friendly tone. The words were said in a slight growl of irritance, making th ehairs on my nape stick up in a splotch of anger.
Narrowing my eyes, they hardened ever-so-slightly, ears flicking back a tad as my voice rang into the air once more, "Greetings, River." There was a razor sharp edge to my voice to show my own irritance, my golden luminaries never leaving Frost Fawn to display my warning. "How nice of you to join us," With a slight hint of a growl in the depths of my masculine tone, I hoped the gal got my point; this is your pack member-practically family-and you will treat them with respect whether you like it or not. It was obvious I had little tolerance for such inconsiderate actions as I finally turned my alabaster and onyx crown in River's direction, my ears perking and optics softening into a friendly expression. I nodded lightly in acknowledgement before turning back to hear the next question, sitting back onto my haunches and wrapping my own banner around my right flank contently. "That bastard has no mind if he thinks this pack will perish under the rule of Seline. I believe the pack will fluorish indeed, many times more than with Kr-" My words halt short as I hear the foolish howl from the borders. A challenger already.
A deep snarl in anger escapes my maw, but my eyes turned in the other way, looking distant. There was no doubt the fucking bastard knew Seline was injured from the last fight with Kree, and they were going to take it as an advantage on their part. Foolish, indeed. My gaze catches a sight of a blur of white as it rushes past to the borders-it was none other than Liquid, and for a moment I longed to run to greet the fucker, also. Somehow I managed to hold my urges back, and without thinking, my side brushed against Clover's in search for some comfort. There was such friendship between us, I hoped she would understand my interuptance of the conversation brewing between her and another ess. Apologetic tones shot through my eyes as I landed my gaze on each of the lupine's I was speaking to, but my thoughts were elsewhere. I knew they could tell my irritance and anger at the damn idiot who challenged, and I hoped Seline would kill them when they fought. On second thought, with her wounds and restlessness, perhaps she should have someone else fight for her. preferably of the earlier 'superiors' she had mentioned-including me. A shiver ran down my spine at the though of the scarlet liquid spilling from the carcus of the varg as it dripped from my own muzzle; the imaginary scene making my mouth water and my own self fidget in anticipation. If only..
