The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.
His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.
"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."
It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.
"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."
The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

you will discover happiness. but it can never be found. happiness lies inside a secret cage. no one can possess the four-leaf clover. Fores pound desperately against the talcum terra, gaining as much ground as possible. I have been gone from Andere for hours- the day is making its completion by the suns place in the atmosphere. The sky is a disgusting color of cat puke, if you’ve ever seen such a thing, though that’s okay if you haven’t. Oranges, light pinks and some dark blues are setting in, creating a gross lookout… perfect ending to the not-so-perfect day, right? The rays of soft light bounce on my soiled cloak as I continue to dash down the small outlet stream from the larger river I’d run down earlier. My maw hangs open, letting my pink muscle loll out with the hopes that keeping my jowls lax will help to salvage the little energy I have left. I’ve been sprinting for many miles so far and every once in a while, I dare to turn my pretty apex around to see if my attacker is following my shadow. When I can tell that he is not in pursuit, I slow to a steady walk and drop to the ground with a loud and audible thump. Water passes over me, cleansing my grotesque pelt of the mud, sweat and musk that had magnetized to it earlier. I spend half an hour just sitting there, watching the water flow by me. I recall an old legend that my mother had learned from her sire, that wolves should fear death by water… that our souls will never be able to reach Tor or Fenris if we let go in it’s liquid depths. This doesn’t scare me though… to die would be an awfully big adventure, afterall. I get up on shaky pillars and move myself over to a patch of leaves, scenting the mint that lies within the dark shrubs. I lay down and relax, rolling in the strong smelling herb… perhaps this will help even more to get that mongrels wretched stink off of me. Instantly, I feel tears begin to reach my gazers, though no pain rumbles in my chest. I am saddened.. why? I inquire thoughtfully and silently, my dull evergreen windows searching the area I’ve come to, determining which way my safe place is. The wind beckons from the east, bringing a lot of pack musks to my delicate narettes. It would have confused me;; however, I have learned, in the short amount of time that I was there, that the scent of Andere is slightly more… different than the sweetness of Saw Tooth, and the foulness of Malignant. There’s no way to describe it. I rise to my now-clean pillars, feeling in the slightest bit better. Turning my cranial in the direction of Andere’s scent (or what I believe to be), I start trotting in that direction, my plumage slicing through the area behind me. Thankfully, I have not been wrong in my decision to follow in this path, for I soon find myself facing the scents of River and Liquid. They must have come this way before… I quicken my pace until I am running at a slow canter. I cross the borders within five minutes, wondering immediately if I will be able to keep my little excursion a secret until the little ones come. I don’t want to trouble Seline with them, but she will have to know sooner or later- she will decree my fate, whether or not it’s good or bad. By now, Calix will be done with the newcomer who had offered me my getaway… Domes prick forward attentively as I waltz into a clearing, desperately hoping that my bath and roll in mint has helped with masking the scent. Why am I so worried?
