The air is heavy as you make your way through unknown territory, as you pause to sniff the air a drop of rain falls onto your nose. It is soon followed by another and another and soon the rain is pelting down in sheets, soaking you to the bone. The clouds are an angry purple and the menacing drumming of thunder rolls over the sky. Squinting your eyes against the blinding water you find yourself at the edge of a large, dark pine forest. You are too desperate for shelter to notice the scents that mark the border and plunge in, and nearly into the chilly stream that runs through the territory. You veer away and as you are shaking the water out of your fur you notice a large pair of icy blue shards gazing at you. The storm has passed now and beams of sunlight filter through the thick canopy of pines, illuminating a massive male wolf not three feet away from where you stand.

His pelt looks like a bad patchwork job of black and white and beneath them you see large, hard bands of steely muscle and you know this is a warrior for his torso is marred with many battle scars. His banner curls over his back and his lips are drawn, exposing sharp ivory daggers. When he speaks his voice is deep and dominant, like the thunder you so recently heard.

"Wolf, you have found yourself in the terra of the Andere Seite Pack. I am Eclipse, king of this land."

It is only then that you notice another pair of lanterns gleaming in the penumbra and a dark-pelted fae slinks out into the clearing to stand next to the king, her own banner waves and her green and blue eyes bore into you. She is the same size as most males and a crisscrossing pattern of scars show that she too can take care of herself. Her voice is cold and has a snake-like sound to it yet you can see they are both fair rulers.

"And I am Nephthys, queen of Andere. We don’t care much for strangers so you must make your choice, Submit to us now or flee our lands and never return. If you fail to do either you will have little time left to regret it."

The formidable pair pierces you with their gaze and you feel as if all your secrets spill out before them. You are left with a decision now. Will you submit and take refuge in this dark forest or will you flee and never know what secrets these trees hide? Make haste, you can see that the pair grow tired of waiting.

As the snow cleared away her pawprints and hid the carcass of the assassinated wolf, the ivory queen pushed herself to her snowy paws. She glided away from the site, a dark gaze flicking over her shoulder at the carcass of her prey. “See ya” she snickered across her shoulder, batting her long lashes to blink away the snow. She shook out her lithe body and off she went, her paws silent on the snow. As she moved down the slope, she felt eyes watching her. She turned her head to the side slightly, turning her eyes across her back. She soon spotted her stalker. A lone coyote pup was watching her, it’s frame still plump but it’s eyes hungry. It crouched in the snow, scenting blood on her and wanting her to lead it to the kill. It must have hoped that the ivory ess had hidden her kill farther down the mountain and that she was heading towards it right then. She decided to play along until she was close enough to crunch it’s tiny skull between her jaws. So the queen bent down, whining as a mother would to call it’s pups. The little one shivered and leapt towards her. She couldn’t help but feel a twing at the fuzzy little one. Somewhere deep inside of her, she knew that no pup deserved to die in the cold, and she knew that it’s blood would mix with the snow and the whole thing would be messy. She didn’t need messy. She needed quick, easy. She smiled at the pup. It would be all to easy to lure it closer. It noticed the smell of meat on her and must not have noticed it was the smell of another wolf’s blood. Pups were stupid, she thought, chuckling evily to herself.

The ess whined once again and the pup leapt through the snow, bowling into her legs. It crawled under her belly, snuggling into her warm, thick white coat. She smirked,it would be all to easy. There was something in her belly that made her shift. It was warm, and it was soft. She didn’t like warm and soft. She liked hard, cold. She pushed that feeling away and led the pup down the mountain. It finally whimpered and collapsed halfway up. She frowned at it, wondering how it had gotten up and wondered why she was going through the trouble. But at the thought of that soft, tender pup meat, she knew that it would be worth it. So she grasped the scruff of the pup and heaved it into the air. It was light and it was all she could do to not crush it’s neck right then. But she restrained herself and plodded down the slope, never pausing until she got to the bottom. There she went deep into the forest and dropped the pup with a soft thud onto the forest floor. The ess dissappered into the shadows and silently stalked the pup. Then she leapt, landing on it’s leg. The snap was loud. The pup screamed out in pain and she relieshed in the sound. Her jaws came down on the other leg and the bone cracked. The pup screamed again. She smirked. So she liked to play with her food. What’s wrong with that? She licked her lips and nipped the ears of the pup.Blood flooded into her mouth, a metalic taste that made her shiver with delight. Her dark eyes grew darker with blood lust and she lowered her head to nip at the sides and spin. A snap let her know that another bone had been broken. Hehe.

It had been a rib. Finally the ice queen let her jaws close around the pup’s small skull and then with a quick movement, she bit down and the pup stopped stuggling.Warm, wet liquid flowed into her mouth and blood dripped from her snowy jaws as she let the pup fall to the ground. She licked away the blood and with a content sigh, she ran her tongue across her pearly daggers. She laid down and began to devore the meal before her. She pulled away the soft skin og the belly, easily ripping though the tender skin and into the belly that it covered. She crunched happily, her audits alert and twisting slightly to catch the sound a approaching predator or prey might make. She finished the belly and then slowly ripped the throat away. The warm blood flooded her mouth and she made a soft moan of delight. So devored the neck and chest faster then what she whished. The licked her lips as she buried the remains of her kill. Then she padded through the forest, crimson staining her snowy pelt. A yawn split her jaws as the sound of rushing water reached her audits. She licked blood from her maw as the river came into view. She stopped at one bank, almost crossing into the lands of Saw Tooth. She waded into the icy river and let it wash away the gore from her first meal and the snack she had just devored. She then bent her head and lapped the icy water. The cold burned her throat and made her belly feel sloshy. She didn’t like that. So,careful of the borders surronding her, the ivory ess waded through the water, careful to stay away from the two borders by her and finally her destination approched her.

She stopped at the borders of Andere Seite Pack. Her dark eyes bore into the dark forests that rested infront of her.The queen raised her white crown and strod out of the icy water. As she stood on the bank, water streamed off her coat and made her look…kinda pretty. Well she was pretty already but you get the point. She shook out her fur in one graceful movement, her head twisting, her neck turning to let her peer over each shoulder, her shoulders throwing back, her spin arching like a cat’s as her bodice twisted. The lithe form of the white ess was a little spiky from the water and she set to drying her fur, resting in the ferns just outside the borders of the pack. She didn’t know how long she had been there when she noticed that when the wind wrapped her in it’s cold embrace it didn’t chill her anymore. With a quick twist of her head she confirmed what she had guessed. Her fur was dry at that point, fluffed up a little against the icy winds. She smirked with satisfaction and strutted along the edge of the border in which she was resting before. Finally she found a good spot, where the sun shone nicely, sure to make her fresh coat gleam like a gemstone. She shook out her fur once more in that elegant way of hers and then rested lightly on her haunches. Her war banner lowered to the ground and rested by her side. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she gazed around the area that was around her. What most wolves didn’t know about her was that she did indeed like peace in her surrondings. While she would feel comfortable surronded by death then by love, she wanted quiet.

So the ess enjoyed the rare moment of me time. The birds didn’t sing, nor did she scent that of any other wolves, other then the pack scents around her.But she liked it. The rustle of trees was comforting and the sun shone down on her back. As she watched, clouds moved and unblocked the sun. The sun light up the forest around her into a beautiful greenish color that made her smile. She smiled as the dragonflies buzzed and she looked stunning. But she knew that if she was to join then she would be able to see this beautiful veiw as much as she wanted. Her thoughts were in a a snag and she was unsure what she was to do. She had always liked to rule. She had even debated many of the ‘good’ packs so she might become the Alpha Female. But sadly she had been thrown to the curb by her mind and she was forced to admit that this was her place. She had been on edge about this pack because a soft hearted fellow had been leading this pack. But then new blood had thrown into the mix and she felt happy. She had set out on the journey that had led her here. She had taken a few jobs and the ivory star had gotten her payment. She wondered if this pack would have any jobs for the known assassian. Yes she was known to assassians and assassian employeers. So what. The ess watched as the sun started to desend, her que coming closer to her as she rested. Her eyes scanned into the forest surronding her. She licked her lips and turned away from the forest, heading back towards the river. She paused at the edge, staring at her reflection. She smashed the image.

She ducked her crown and let the icy water burn her parched throat. She liked the cold water rushing down her gullet but there was something that burned when she swallowed water from the mountains. It was like being forced into a facefull of snow. It made her throat numb and she shivered slightly. She tucked her legs under her and lowered her frame into the goddesses embrace. She rested her head by her paws, watching the world around her go on without a glance towards her. She smiled softly as she watched a mother bird and her babies. The mother seemed to be teaching her chicks to fly but the chicks kept falling. She chuckled softly. She let her eyes drift down till they were closed then she let herself slip into oblivian. She awoke shortly though, refreshed and ready to take down, if this went wrong. The ess licked her lips and knew the smell of wolf blood was still resting on her coat. It would never drift from her. She rose to her pillars and with towers erect, she drifted towards the border. She paused and glanced into the darkness. Then she raised her crown and her elegant howl was released into the slowly chilling night air.
