During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The next two newcomers to the clearing pass by in a blur to Miya; she finds no interest in the female’s upon first glance, and so finds no reason to observe them. Granted they would be a part of her pack- as long as she was accepted by the Alpha, that is- she didn’t find the need to focus on them currently. Instead, all of the silver girls attention was focused on the male before her, who had just finished greeting the first wolf to have shown up in the clearing. Mimicking his previous gestures to the first wolf, when she had held her position before him, close to the soil- the Alpha had reached forward and down to caress her tender exposed flesh with serrated canines, accepting her as one of his own. With sterling silver furred ears slicking back against her skull, Miya withdrew from the close proximity to the male before taking several paw steps backward to add a bit of distance between herself and the regal.

The action was not out of fear, for it was simple respect that drove her to increase their sharing space. Just in the nick of time, too. No sooner had Miya removed herself then a rather small figure had suddenly shown up at her side, immediately making a bee line toward the King. With slightly arched brows, the silver phantom watched on in a certain curious silence as the rather small thing stopped abruptly before the Alpha, only to reach up to attempt to run an eager pink tongue along the most prominent scar on the male’s muzzle. He had retracted slightly, giving a slight curling of his lip as well as a slight growl that soon transcended to a low chuckle. Miya found the interaction rather intriguing- the rather distant, perhaps harsh looking Alpha having a rather tender spot for the little girl before him.

But of course the phantom’s observations remained silent as her liquid silver eyes took in the scene before her, hardly paying much attention to anyone beside the pair before her. Her fractured mind wondered fleetingly if any of the other wolves were watching as intently as she was, but she didn’t really care at that specific moment. When the little one spoke, her voice still retained that high note of a youngsters, and yet her tone was rather blank and robotic. With a sudden twang in her chest, which could only be something tugging at her heart strings, the light hued female recalled silently her old self, the young child she had once been. All at once she felt the spitting image of herself in front of the Alpha male, and she suddenly came to a realization. She would have acted the same exact manner that the little one, who announced her name as Jersey, had. So moldable, so easily worked and plied into the perfect machine for ones bidding. The little girl had chosen her home well, then.

Throughout her entire thought process, nothing showed across Miya’s expression to give her away, nor did anything change considering her body language. The only betrayal of her rather satisfactory realization would be perhaps the gentle gleam within the girls silver irises, accented with that intense burnt sienna. Still training her gaze on little Jersey still before the Alpha, a sudden scent had Miya then glancing across her shoulder to witness the next newcomer. It was a male this time, who’s icy gaze seemed to pierce everything and anything about him. He literally seemed to see straight through the other wolves in the clearing as he made his way past them, immediately approaching the Alpha just as she herself had. Remaining in her chosen spot, Miya observed quietly, with her ghost gaze slightly averted politely, but her ears still listening intently to the conversation. It seemed the new coming male was weary of the Alpha male’s promise of leadership, the one he of course took on simply by wearing the title as Alpha. The ghost girl had to agree with the stranger- one could never be too careful about choosing a new home.

The thought of a new home brought Miya’s mind fleetingly to Kong, to which she wondered what he was doing at the moment, but soon enough with a flick of her muzzle she had cleared the thought from her mind. Her focus was here, now, pledging herself the male who soon introduced himself as Volbeat. Though he had bid her rise, and welcome to Munashii- Miya still did not speak for she had not been asked anything in particular by the Alpha. She knew the information and pleasantry exchange would come at a later date, for now she focused on any words that Volbeat had to give; or perhaps any murmuring the wolves in the clearing had to say. After all, while Miya’s gaze was focused nowhere in particular, her auditory senses were ever in action, constantly ready to pick up the slightest hint of a noise on the drop of a dime.
