Ice Mountain

The Ice Mountain is much smaller than Wolf Mountain, yet climbing up it is far more difficult and shouldn't be attempted in winter. Some creatures collect the shiny stones at the peak of this mountain for necklaces.

He didn't know /why/ he was here. Elias flew up towards the mountain, it had been his first time since he had moved into Coral Flower that he had went further than Traydon River and even less so since he became a father. But it was a special day... Elias knew of this holiday made by the humans, Valentine's day or something like that and well he wanted to give the wolf who had effected his life the most something to remember him always by. It was very treacherous to be at Ice Mountain during the Winter, really Elias was berating himself for not doing this much sooner than today. But because of that he had brought Aska along, who surprising, agreed that this trip was a good thing for the mostly white brute.

The golden cat faced gryphon flew behind her best friend and father-figure, feeling like he should have done this sooner. Though she did worry about what Mojito's reaction would be. Elias might be in big trouble but Aska knew that the forced relationship between Elias and Mojito wouldn't last much longer. Already Mojito was starting to suspect Elias had more feelings for Hayazo than just best friends, but Elias forged on, something that Aska knew hurt him. It would hurt them all in the end. But she could only hope that things would turn out right after today...

Elias felt the wind blast him hard pushing him down, but he /had/ to keep going! Higher and higher the wolf and mythical climbed until finally the peak came into view. Elias dipped down wearily, never had he had to fly so hard for so long! He landed roughly on golden toed paws, the petite little gryphon joining him and looking around.

"I don't see any Elias, are you sure they are here?" Her tone showed she had a certain wise-ness about her. But regardless of her worries she helped her friend dig in the light layer of snow. Both of their breaths were short even clouds were below them now. Elias pawed and pawed at the ground but finally feeling brave he used fire.

It melted the snow around them, but he burt his paws with some back fire... Aska too leaped up as some fire licked her paws but if vanished quickly. "Hey! Watch it!" She growled wishing that he would spend more time working with his more destructive blessing... It was only his blessings like Regain, Water, and Greenpaw he used often... Elais was such a gentle boy he didn't like that type of thing..

"I'm so sorry Aska!" The young brute said rushing over to her to look at her paws. He ignored his own pain and panted lightly. Both from exhaustion from using fire, from flying all the way up here, and the lack of oxygen so high up, now he was pushing his boundaries. Using Regain, he gave up his energy and fed it to Aska's lightly burnt paws.

"No! It's fine! You-" But he was already done. Aska sighed as the small wolf fell over almost instantly. It would have been comical if it wasn't for their location. "Elias..." She sighed fondly of him. That was him, think about everyone but himself even if it killed him. Quickly the lynx sized myhical's look changed to annoyance. She looked under where his head had hit the ground and saw a rather large bright, shiny blue rock. It was a near perfect oval with a bit of Fire it could become something really nice. Not that Aska wanted to be any closer than 20 ft when he would try and use Fire again...

"Get up lazy bones!" she growled lightly, yanking on his scruff. "Pain in my tail..." She only could wait now, ut she didn't like the low amounts of air and her short breaths... It was becoming stressing almost. But she wouldn't leave him up here, nor could she carrying him, so she had to deal with it.
