During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

There she went, acknowledging how worthless he was, him not being able to do a single thing and all. Wow, great way to approach a pack. Rhundus knew that she didn’t mean it that way, but still, he was a brute. Testosterone was allowed to cloud his judgment; it was his one excuse. That chemical had gotten him out of many deep troubles. But now this fae wanted to just sit there and chat. The hessian’s eyes rolled out of habit. He could be spending this time alone, basking in his awesome nothingness. But no, be kind, be nice. Rank. As Skyshadow looked up towards the celestial body he felt his skull looking up as well, preparing himself for the wait. He glanced back at her at the word friend.
“Honey, if I’m the only friend you got, then baby you’re screwed,” he snickered, nose crinkling up in silent laughter. No Varg was foolish enough to befriend him, although maybe it was time for someone to grow a pair and start. Not that he had ever craved company that badly, it was just fun to have some other souls around. Food for thought. “But you’ll get in just fine,” he said quietly, pools staring off into nothing. Did he mean it? Did he want to be encouraging? Rhundus hadn’t a clue. Still, the moment passed like a breeze and he was back to his old self, the same self-righteous smirk underlying his features. “But what do you wanna talk about princess? The weather? Or would you rather go on another self-pity rant?” The male snorted in laughter, hoping this ess could hear the teasing sarcasm in his tone. Not many people got his humor, sadly. Still, he eyed the newcomer, daring her to oppose his words with a sly gaze.
