Talon pants for breath, looking softly up at Sugar. Her eyes were flooded with tears as she met his gaze. He smiled gently, wishing he could reach up to her so badly. The scent of his own blood flitted across his senses and he coughed. When he coughed, his ribs screamed in pain and he growled.

"Go take care of your ankle love. I don't want it being hurt for long," he whispers to Sugar. He really is worried for her, and it was drawn across his features as well. Inside, he is just praying she did so and doesn't worry about him. He's alright at the moment, so there's no need for worrying.

Very slowly, he takes a deep breath and tries not to stress his ribs. Something suddenly constricts in pain and Talon sucks in a breath to hold in a yelp. Carefully, he lets it out, feeling thick liquid creeping up his throat.

Quickly, Talon urges Sugar to leave to get whatever she needed to help herself. "Go ahead, I'll be fine," he tells her.
