WHERE ARE WE SUPPOSE TO GO? TRISTAN
IP: 74.192.21.99

When Nimmy had asked him if he wanted to go to the castle with her he could barely contain himself.

Grayson ran upstairs where Era was currently sleeping and shook her awake. The blue Australian cattle dog looked at him through sleepy eyes and grumbled lowly. She tried once to burrow her head back into her paws before he finally picked her up since she was still light enough to carry. Grayson didn’t bother grabbing his wooden sword, he felt like he was getting too old for it but it was still too important to him to throw away, so for now it laid on his dresser with various other items. Grayson carried Era downstairs before setting her on the floor, she was jabbering away at Grayson in his head but he ignored it.

And then out the door they went.

The castle was always an exciting place. It was now busy as ever, many people bounded through the halls with their desperate faces as if they had something important to do. Grayson often got in the way and was told by a couple of times to stay with Nimmy by the guards but that never lasted long. It was probably the only time he didn’t listen to his foster mother. The castle meant Arthur, if he was sly enough to catch a glimpse of him, but it always meant something more, it meant seeing his best friend.

Tristan hadn’t stopped by Nimmy’s in a few days, either that or Grayson was just too busy getting into things outside or with his sister Saffron who was currently teaching him how to read. He was doing rather well these days, He had graduated from reading The Cat in the Hat and was currently reading a thicker book with less pictures, but still found some enjoyment in it. Although he would still rather be outside playing pretend things with Era since Nimmy thought it was too dangerous to give the boy a real dagger for him to hack away at the trees, something about he would ruin them or along those lines.

The walked seemed like it took forever, when the castle finally came into view Nimmy let him venture ahead, which he did. Breaking into a run he bounded straight for the barn yard, a place he often looked first to find his friend. He almost didn’t see a man walking a horse and had to skid to a stop, the man scowled him as the horse spooked and tried to get away. Grayson shrank for only a moment before running into the big barn. “Tristan!” He shouted as he wandered through the barn. He walked by each stall and even peaked in on a horse that he noticed Tristan favored quite a bit but he wasn’t there. Standing at the end of the hall way he stood scratching his head wondering where his friend could be. The area for the horses was huge, what seemed like endless pastures, round pens, and other various things. He could be anywhere, out riding or even with his father. So for now the boy sat on an old bale of hay. Era finally caught up to him and jumped up on the bale and curled next to him. A hand fondly ruffled up her coat. He’d wait for him, seeing as it was probably best and he would turn up sooner or later.
