For a moment, fear encased the tri-colored masterpiece. Fear that the direction of which he was swimming was down when he wanted to go up and to the surface. Either way, it felt like vertigo- and that was partially why the gladiator enjoyed the water so much. Death was prepared to strike at every turn, it’s knotty aged hand that resembled more of a claw than a flesh and blood palm stretching out with unbelievable length each time his paws grabbed at the nothingness that tickled his senses and no oxygen answered his prayers. When Knyghte’s crown broke the surface though, he couldn’t help but laugh at the feeling. It was wonderful- the exhilaration of danger and adventure at the same time caused a joyous reaction to illuminate the darkness. A beautiful sound, like that of church bells upon a steeple joined in the symphonic melody that his own mirth created. Silence befell him and he listened intently as where the source of the sound came from. But a wave crashed in his face before he could pin point its location. Of course, he knew that it was Rylee- but it just stunned him that she could create such a wonderful reverberation. Because he hadn’t been paying attention the soldier was submerged yet again. Quite a dumb look on his face came about when this occurred, really. When he broke the surface yet again, he knew that he would be at a disadvantage should she turn her ivories on him. He couldn’t feel the vibrations in the direction of which they were really coming here… they echoed around and came from the opposite side where they were supposed to come.

The princess paddled in an elliptal motion around his bodice, where his hinds could just barely touch the edge of a large boulder that was underground in the lake- and he made no attempt for his stargazers to follow her as she did so. Round and round… like the stars in the sky over the time of a single night make a complete circle, many nighttimes passed, her being the moon and him being the earth. Of course, he didn’t think of himself in such a cocky way, but you get what I’m trying to play out here, right? Good. She dove under and for a moment, Knyghte’s way of seeing was blinded again. Panic rose in his chest, catching in his throat. Had she drowned? Dammit! Just as he was about to dive under, the multi-stained jester relaxed as she arose from the crystalline fluid yet again. She inquires him a little later as to how he found the place at all. A shrug drags his shoulders up as if they were on strings like a marionette would be. Terribly terrifying those things are. With judging optics and giggling faces that are never wiped back off… Then she surprises him totally by asking what he is thinking about. A penny for your thoughts? What a stupid saying- a wishing well gets more income per day than someone who gets asked about their thoughts… Don’t thoughts bring as much good luck as wishing wells? Perhaps even better if he was asked personally.

“What- you are so nosy, girl. I guess it’s a fair question. That’s the good thing about being blind- no one can read right out of your gazers as if they were a book in the easiest language. I’m thinking that I can’t tell where you are. Your voice echoes, and your vibrations are too jumbled for me to get a good hold on.” The impaired titan takes a full three sixty twist around. “Put’s a whole new fucking twist on the game hide and seek in the water. Woops! Excuse my foul language. But seriously… show me where you are, bright one.” Ears are fully erect, pointing thoughtfully up to the sky that wasn’t there anymore, and his eyes are blinking, open and healthy, but devoid of the usual twinkle that breaches everyone’s stargazers. Large paws swish around in the water, trying to keep the balance that the roman already has on his rock. Succeeding with his stunt, the wanderer takes another look around, then decides to just stay still and patiently wait for the demoness to let her position become known to him.
