The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

The slim, tall wolf followed his master as they moved through the land called Blossom Forest. First, they moved along an area that was full of the heady sent of the she as well as he versions of the wolven kind who were drunk with hormones driving the need to find a mate. The boy watched without emotion as scenes of wooing took place. Byakuya was grateful for the clearing air as they left, and took a few deep breaths, but soon the path of the creature he eternally followed took them into an other scent, that, though it was different, was just as strong. This time the wind wafted around the scent of passion. A fea growled at a male, who left the area, heading down to the river. This actually amused the warrior. As dejected as the male looked, he if he was going where he seemed to be, he must not actually feel much of anything toward the fea, in which case why would he bother to look sad at all? Sometimes the nuances of other minds were beyond him. This seemed to mean something important to his leader, though. From there the air cleared, and they made their way to a meadow that was filled with pups that had been abandoned by their parents. The pups stayed here, hoping that they would find someone would be kind enough to take care of them. The air here was scented with the smell of flowers that overrode all else, but their was something under the scent of the wild growing spots of color. Something crunched under his paw, and he looked down to see something white. He smiled to himself, the gesture not showing on his face, that stayed impassive. He doubted that you would have to dig far down anywhere in the meadow to find the evidence of the poor souls that did not find any aid in the heavenly looking flowers. They were hidden now, covered by the sweet grasses where pups frolicked and forever lost beyond remembering. Some times the world wasn't kind, and things were not as they appeared.
Leaving the likely haunted meadow, the two moved on, coming to a place that was known as prey plateau. His master watched a group of wolves take down a deer whilst seemingly being filled with regret. Why they would be regretful was a mystery to the varg, who, though he didn't inflict unnecessary pain upon his quarries, never felt bad, or really thought about it, when eating them. They left soon after the family caught their quarry, bursting into tears in an odd way. Again, the baron wondered what the point was in crying if you would eat the deer anyway. If you cared that much, why not try eating grass like the deer themselves did, though it might not work. He was grateful that his master was such a straight forward wolf. Quarrels clearing was a place of bloodshed, but it obviously did not please Naraku to arrive in time to see an ivory wolf whisk away. The wolves challenger had not shown up. The leader turned, and so did Byakuya, who always kept himself to the left of and slightly behind the other. They moved to a lake, where the scarred wolf caused several others to run away. Well, Byakuya could have been the one who scared them, but he doubted it. He really didn't have an imposing aura, or much of an aura at all.
After the drink, the pale wolf was lead to the mouth of a dark cavern, which seemed to be what his master had been waiting for. The scarred war lord plunged right in, with the servant, as always, by his side. As darkness and the smell of death enveloped them, Byakuya made out the shapes of a few carcases, in all of the stages of decomposition. Over the death smell, you could make out the fragrance of more than a couple of the dark frequenters of the cavern. This seemed to give the master an idea, and the pale one did not disrupt him, waiting for orders or a sign of moving on. A snort, followed by a howl came from the throat of the commanding one. His master sat, and so the quiet one positioned himself better in his usual place, keeping standing. His face, as per usual, was completely devoid of expression. He had no huge interest in the proceedings, as he had no orders, and such, no part in them for the time being, other than doing his best to make his master's each wish and plan follow through smoothly as they came into being. For now, it was his duty to stand quietly, and maybe go out hunting sometime in the next few days or so, before his master became hungry.
