Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

pro nobis omnibus [SPARRING MATCHES]
IP: 156.34.157.212

ooc: As Tamlin stated at the Pack Meeting, these sparring matches aren't mandatory. People can just join up with whoever they want to spar with and get the show going<3. If you want, each of you can move to a new thread, or we could just stay here. The rules are the same as normal fighting rules and we each have one full dodge, two half dodges and two posts in which to attack. Try pinning or brushing with teeth instead of attacking full out... Tammy doesn't want too much blood, and he definitely would be displeased to see entrails on the ground or something :3 <3

The pack meeting was coming to a conclusion – that much became evident to the alpha male of Bright Moon. The socialization had been concluded, all the new wolves that would join had likely already shown themselves, all in all, a very good ending for what had been a fine evening of togetherness. The battle-scarred veteran thought of each new joiner in turn – Tsunami, the pale white lass who it was his duty to speak to privately before joining in with the sparring, Arvada, the milky newcomer who hadn't come across another wolf in a great deal of time. As his thoughts moved to Kushina, he deduced that she, one of the most unusual wolves he had ever met, likely would not stay in his pack for long. The intense girl would likely be drawn by another pack as soon as whatever danger she seemed to had been in passed. The young male pup was no less mulled over. Tamlin was still slightly amused by the ebony coated child's memorable entrance. Rylee was another wolf who he had permitted to join as one of his warriors. His first impression was of a polite, lonely fea who had a deep desire for company. Last but not least, his mind turned to Oreo Twist. Twist wasn't a newcomer, but Tamlin had not seen the little 'smurf' since his siblings turbulent birth on the borders of Bright Moon, so he counted as a member of that category.

Maybe he was just being a tad over-anxious about protecting what lady Satowra had created, but for some reason, the long-legged king sensed that tribulations from outside of the pack lands might occur. Abendrot was a growing power, one that was located right beside the peaceful oasis that was Bright Moon. It was long-standing fact that peace had to be defended, so he and his hunters had to be mighty and resolute in order to keep the ash-dusted paradise unmarred by outside influence. The ancient order of the draconian world that had been Tamlin's birthplace still held true, even here, in this green world of lush bounty. The strong will inevitably win over the weak. Tamlin himself would not be labelled in that utterly damning category, and just because of the little shoot of warmth that was in his heart, he refused to allow any wolf in Bright Moon to grow lazy and weak due to lack of activities. They had to be powerful in order to survive the dynamics of the shifting world. Although that was a large reason that was driving him to have a series of sparring matches, he had other, more subtle motives. Fighting with another wolf made you get to know them in ways that you never would if you merely spoke to them, and it was always pleasant to be well-aware of your packmates and their emotions, whatever the situation. Also, more simply, the activity would be fun, something that they would enjoy doing together as a group. He'd never really had a casual spar before, so Tamlin personally was looking forward to the matches as a unique and fresh opportunity.

Tamlin had dismissed the pack meeting with a nod and a few words. His concluding statement still hung upon the air as he turned and trotted methodically twixt the stately trunks, his muscled frame flashing through the vivid emerald growth like a streak of blizzard on a summer day. His lithely proportioned chassis moved forward at an even, rhythmic canter, he didn't stop on his journey until he reached a clearing that he had previously scouted out of the event to take place in. He slowed to a jog which eventually transitioned to a slinking, sinuous walk. He strode to the middle of he clearing and then lightly touched down on his haunches. When his warriors drew near, he waited a moment before speaking, his voice carrying his usual lilt. “Chose your partners as you will. Keep in mind that these matches are to be friendly – please refrain from injuring each other as much as possible. I'll be back shortly.” With that, he turned to Tsunami, tilting his head to the side. The small motion would let her know that he was ready to speak with her if she still wanted to tell him her story.
