OMG! Speaking from experience, PLEASE DEFER!! Jamie & I ran (if you want to call it that) Boston in 2004 when the race temp was 25-30 degrees C. So many runners needed medical attention, but as you can imagine, the medics were overrun. It isn't worth it! I imagine the BAA remembers that day and that is why they are offering this opportunity to defer. I recommend you take it! I'll cross my fingers for milder temperatures on race day.
