Time seemed to slow around the fallen roan girl. Her eyes looking over at her fathers form, and then lifting up to see her mothers lips move but no sound came out. What was wrong with her? The pale shape of mister Canta invaded her eyes now, and she took in his shape, the way he stood, reading for any signs of sadness. Her fathers death was a sad one. He had so many friends that would mourn his passing. Moving her head around, her eyes finally landed on Debo, her stallion. What she saw made her gasp out in shock, and then her body was up in second. She stood on trembling legs as watched him submit, saw the way Canta stood over him. No, she echoed in her mind. She took a step forward, but another figure appeared. A black mare, that stood close to Encantador.
Neassa was probably not thinking straight when she pushed passed the two leaders, and stood between them and Debo, ears back and teeth bared. "He did nothing wrong!" She snapped, her eyes meeting the stallions. Her mother stood off to the side for a moment, before she too joined her daughter, her own ears laid back but she kept quiet. This situation was becoming stressful for the pregnant lass. With eyes flickering back and forth between Canta and the ebony mare, Neassa could only wonder what they were thinking. Both seemed in position to attack, but would they turn their anger to her to get to Debo?
Alexa had been thinking the same thing, and she moved to stand in front of her daughter, lifting her tear ridden face up to her friend. "Debo is our friend Canta," she spoke softly, "Razvan trusted him with Neassa...He has done no wrong.." She stepped back then, her red hip pressing against her daughter's shoulder. Bowing her head, she too submitted. If they would be angry with Debo then they shall be angered by the mother and daughter who were protecting him now.
