The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Her bright yellow eyes cut through the flooding darkness. She couldn't see, but hey, what's a little darkness going to do? After all -- she was a strong pup. Abused, alone, and more likely than not, insane. She was young, barely past three months. Being left on the edge of a large forest would be startling to most pups, but not Buttons. She was different. She saw the forest not as a punishment, but a new adventure. If only he could be there with her...

He was her best friend. Her most deeply bonded sibling... Her brother. He was an older male, born a litter before her. But she had come to love him, no matter how impossible it would seem. He was a strong, handsome male. He was named after a pack leader from the unorganized pack in which she was born into. Buttons had a strange relation to this male. She loved him. But her past was not an honorable one. And he left. Changed his name, covered his tracks, never returned...

But what can you do? That was over three weeks ago, time to move on!

Her paws beat the ground steadily, a soft thumping against the cold dirt. It wasn't until the thumping turned to clicks that she realized she was in the Caverns. Buttons had heard of this place, but never had she been to it. Her brown fur flashed once, then was consumed in the darkness.
The cavern was so dull and dead, and yet, it sprang with life. All at once, it was as if a spell had awakened the dark rock cave.
Her golden eyes widened.
Crystals lodged in the sides of the cavern lit up with the rising moon. Bats flittered awake and flew into the cool night to find an unsuspecting moth or mosquito. Beetles, mice and lizards scurried on the hard ground and every now and then a drop of water would fall from the rocks on the top on the ceiling and formed small puddles of dark, blue water on the crevices in the ground. It was all so amazing.

However, the sound of a deep male's voice broke the trance, and Buttons found herself running towards the source of the sound.
She reached it in no time at all. But it was not who she had thought. A large, cream-colored male wolf jumped down from a ledge and seemed to advance on a smaller male pup. The pup was bigger than she, but seemed weaker. Tilting her head, Buttons rushed to the wolves.
She placed herself between the two and glared evilly up at the older male.

"What do you think your doing?" She snapped.
"He's just a defenseless little pup. Why don't you go out and pick on someone your own size?" With that, Buttons stuck out her bottom lip in a very girly pout and turned from the older male to look at the pup.

"Hi. I'm--" She cut herself off and turned back to the older male.
"He looks like a creeper," She whispered to the pup, "I don't want him to know my name. It's Buttons." She said her name to where it was barely audible, but hoped the pup had heard.

Buttons, in a friendly gesture, lifted her front right paw and scratched at the air. She was waving to the pup, whether he could tell or not.

"And what's your name?"
