Misty Mountain is opposite of Rainbow Cliff. Mists hover year-round at this high altitude, mistaken by some to be thin clouds. Thin layers of snow cover the mountain, making some areas slippery and hazardous.

Some think it romantic, a place to bring their mates, while others come to play and romp. However, all must agree that there is some level of mystery and spookiness hovering about with the mists...

It didn’t seem long before the safety and peace of the hide-out was disturbed. A figure appeared at the mouth of the den and the lass’ heart missed a beat. She had been discovered already, what was she going to do? She could stay silent and wait for the creature to move on or fight for her pathetic life. Silence didn’t work as the figure seemed determined to get a conversation out of her and the growl growing in her throat died out as a melodic tune whispered down the cave. The only thing she could do was to be civil and speak and hope that she didn’t aggravate the male- she discovered as his scent reached her nares. It took a while for the ess to get the words out of her maw and even when they did escape into the atmosphere they were short and snappy. “I guess.”

Thoughts and feelings whizzed round the girl’s mind. If this wolf did decide to turn nasty, she was trapped in this stupid cave with no way of getting out. Sure she could howl and squeal but would anybody come to her aid if she did? The brute from what she could see- and that was barely anything because of the darkness- was bigger than she was and no doubt stronger, but for some reason Yoki didn’t feel scared of him. Most other males would have barged into the den and attacked her by now, but he just sat at the entrance looking at the fantastic view. He didn’t seem to want to hurt her, but she couldn’t trust him. How did she know it wasn’t all part of his plan? Make her feel comfortable and then when she trusts me most... STRIKE! Yoki shuddered at the thought and retreated further into the den.

Everything went quiet for a minute. The lass’ heart beat so loud she wondered if the brujo could hear it as well. This had never happened before. Why wasn’t he doing anything? There was something intriguing about the brute, something that Yoki couldn’t get her head around. Bit by bit the dull coloured ess crawled towards the entrance. Her claws were unsheathed and hackles were raised, she meant no harm towards the boy, but she still didn’t trust him. Once she got to the entrance she got a better look at the devil. He was grey and handsome – she guessed- and was regular size for a wolf. He looked rather relaxed as he gazed over the grassy plains below and showed no signs of attacking her. Slowly and quietly she sat down a safe distance away from him. “W...” The femme kept her amber orbs looking down at the ground. Her voice was timid and shaky. “What do you want with me?”
