At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Dras Thelle

[We will not forget our here and now. Absolutely not]

DRAS THELLE l BROWN W/ WHITE UNDERBELLY l YELLOW EYES l ADULT

The world is a big place, if one takes the time to wander around it. There were so many different things to see, mountains as high as the heavens, plains that stretched on for days; places where the sweltering hot sun burned the earth from early in the morning to late in the evening without end, and other places where, although one might wish for the gentlest lick of sunlight, it would never peek it’s shining face from beneath the overhead blanket of angry grey clouds.

Yes, Dras has seen much in the few years he had been alive. He’d never found in necessary to settle, never found the attachments or the comfort in others as his kind usually did.

Was it because he was scared? Perhaps.

He had to figure, after being separated from his family when he was young, maybe there was some unnoticed trauma buried somewhere within his mind that had created some defect that made him incapable of becoming attached to other wolves, or to anything other than his own well being? Or maybe he just couldn’t get enough of the world around him to feed the seeming insatiable thirst inside of him for knowledge and things that were new.

As he paused, his took notice of the sound of rushing water just a while to his left.

A waterfall? He thought as he turned and began trotting lightly towards the sound, now that he thought about it, he was a bit thirsty. The sound of water was getting closer, but that’s not what ne noticed first; the smell of other wolves was so pungent it almost burnt his nose.

”Ack!”

He couldn’t stop the word from slipping out of his mouth, it had been awhile since he had smelt so many wolves in one place, and the hair on the back of his neck was prickling in anticipation.

Would there be another wolf at the waterfall waiting for him?

OOC:
This is my first post with this guy here, and first post after being gone for almost four years...
. Please forgive me that it's not all long!

The villain was me,
The one who ran away is me.

It's no lie, I am, the true liar.

Encompassed by bouquets,
You closed your eyes to be -
Peacefully, innocently, as asleep...
AS YOU WERE
