The brute wandered as he so often did, around the area of Traydon River. He had to admit, many of his of his ventures out of his home and birth place, Ice Pack, hadn't been to good. Over his right shoulder he had scars from where a dragon had gotten him while he was protecting two fems. The last one, he had run into a dog who acted rather strangely, and seemed a little too curious about his life for his liking, the meeting had been short, but it was enough to unsettle the young male wolf. Aster hadn't left since then, but it was time to explore once more and see what he could find over the mountain. Traydon River seemed like an ideal area for wandering this day. It was kind of a family hot spot in a way, many of them came here for one reason or another and the tri-colored red brute was looking around to see why. Well... So far he found it tranquil and much more quiet than he found River Danson. He could see why they came here rather than other places. Ice Pack members would find this as close as ideal to hideout as any place. Close to a river to cool off in and a lot of shade, Aster even felt fairly comfortable as he trotted through the woods.

The black nose worked lightly, taking in the different scents of prey, canines, felines and mythicals he could take in, but one scent that crossed his path made the brute stop dead in his tracks. Fire Pack. The ashy dead smell made the brute's nose wrinkle up in disgust, but there was something else, the scent of herbs and flowers mixed in with it that reminded him of Nibelheim, the Ice Pack's best healer. It was a strange combination, after the war, Ice didn't have much of a good view on Fire anymore, many of them, including Aster, wasn't sure how he felt about his Father's actions, but as time went by it seems like it was right. They had invaded their lands and they paid the price for it. All their scents though had been bloody and ashy, none of them had any sort of 'plant' too it.

The red brute was torn between wanting to explore this scent and wanting to stay as far away from Fire Pack as he could, after all the son of the Alpha had sworn that they would be enemies... In the end curiosity had beaten Aster's sense and he cautiously started following the scent. The Fire Pack Member's scent was heading towards the river, not surprising, they were in a river's area. He was getting closer and the scent stronger, Aster felt his body tense slightly as he heard the odd gate going over the stones and through the brush. Rounding the path's corner the icy eyes spotted the three-legged fem. That was not what he was expecting in the slightest. He stared at her, trying to keep himself hidden but it was so strange, and very much unexpected to see such a fem here, and from Fire Pack no less. Aster was thinking there would be a fight, he didn't think he could bring himself to ever harm a fem who looked so, not helpless, but certainly not a threat to anyone.
