all that glitters is gold.

O Melhor felt like a colt again. Playful and happy with no care in the world. That was at least how it was when Vôo wasn't around. The bay stallion had been plotting the whole time, and O Melhor didn't even know it. No, ever since the coffee colored stallion had become heir, Vôo had been watching him. O Melhor always guessed that Vôo would try something and get himself kicked out of the herd, but instead it was the other why around. O Melhor shuddered, still deep in thought. He still remembered the night well. He had only left to follow Chuva, wondering where the young colt was going.

He did not know they followed him.

When O Melhor heard Tallynne's voice, he broke away from his thoughts with a gasp. Quickly he slipped the grin back on his face, hoping she hadn't noticed his expression. He did not know such a feeling would cause that memory! "Of course. It isn't much, though. Just a bunch of palms." He stepped back into the forest, the palm trees blocking the sun. He was glad to get out of the sun, since it was rather hot. Back at his herd, the summer had only been hot at it's peak. But the sun blazed on, unaware of O Melhor's wish. It was only nice and cool under the canopy.

The coffee colored stallion walked next to Tallynne, trying to push his thoughts to the back of his mind. He had decided to lead her to the big pond he had found. It was not as large as the waterfall's lake, but it was big enough to fit a large herd in. When the trees began to thin out, O Melhor knew that it was near. It was like a section of a small river had been dropped in the middle of his Paradise. Only a few palm trees were by the water, leaving the sun to fill in all the empty space.

The water was usually warm, but it was better then nothing.

O Melhor sauntered towards his find, quite proud of himself. If he hadn't found it, he (and his non-existent herd) would have to swim all the way back to the waterfall's lake to get a drink. When O Melhor had entered the pond, he didn't stop until the water was chest high. He reached down his muzzle to get a drink before turning to Tallynne. "This is the only interesting part. The trees just stretch on until you end up in a different area." He tossed his mane and arched his neck, wondering if the gypsy vanner would wish to complete the rest of the tour, or if she would rather chill in the water.

If there was something else she wanted to do, he was fine with that too.
