Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Even as I wait for punishment, more wolves start to pour into the clearing. Seoras is next, a younger wolf whom I remember meeting briefly before. Another unfamiliar scent finds my nostrils and I glance around briefly, wondering why this wolf is hiding but I don't get to look long before none other than Venga arrives. My heart softens when she comes into view, remembering our little talk. Sure, she might not understand what I'm going through with Raylen's continued disappearances but at least she's trying to. At least she's trying to help. I can appreciate that. I hear her say something a wolf that I can't see, something about how Tamlin would love to meet them and my ears flicker curiously, wondering who she's talking to.

She comes into view and greets Tamlin before giving me a friendly grin. I offer her a small smile in return. The next wolf to arrive is Ambrosia, Tamlin's Beta. She slinks in and greets Tamlin before whispering something about being serious. I brush it off, seeing as it's none of my business and watch as she goes to sit at his right flank. There's a pang in my chest when I remember that Raylen used to be in that spot. Another wolf arrives, this one unknown to me but she looks like she's been here for a while. She touches Tamlin and greets him before lying down. Two more wolves come in, these wolves known as Anarrow and Flick. They both greet Tamlin before going to sit down. A strange wolf arrives next, a creamy teen known as Oreo Twist but everyone mostly calls him Twist.

He's apparently the son of a Bright Moon wolf but I haven't seen the mother in a while. He greets Tamlin, mentioning something about a name stealer before telling Tamlin that he's going to go sit down. He's always talked in third person but no one ever sees fit to correct him. He seems harmless enough. He sits down by Seoras. Tamlin surprises me then by stepping toward me and placing his head over mine, a small comfort and something akin to a grand gesture for him. He then tells me that its a pleasure to see me before smiling and heading off to be in the center of the meeting. I lift my head a little, though my heart still feels heavy in my chest. I sit by quietly while he goes about talking to all of his other pack wolves. By the end, he mentions a hunt and my breath draws out sharply. A hunt?

It's not like I have anything against hunts. I'm a predator after all. I'm just not sure I'm up to it. But this is my pack and I owe Tamlin something after my absences. I will hunt. Tamlin asks for questions but I don't have any so I sit quietly as other wolves start talking. Ambrosia asks about ranks and I feel myself tense a little but I brush it away. What do I have to worry about? I should have never had a rank in the first place. It won't be anything new if I lose it. Another wolf steps forward, a male, the mystery wolf who was out of sight earlier. I look up and listen as he asks for names and introduces himself as Warrior. Misty. I say it softly, almost a whisper but I know he will hear me.
