 RUHANI See how Quick I can take your Life I flinch back at her words wanting to respond but didnt. She was right. That wasnt how things worked. ''Rue.'' was the last word. The nickname Ivy had started. I smiled a little. The first time I'd ever been called Rue since I left. I wanted to just snuggle with her like we did when we were pups. But I couldnt. I looked at the entrance. ''Now that im back, Hows the pack been doing?'' I asked. Looking over at her. My eyes showing no emotion but happy in them. Happy that the first wolf I had found was Ivy and not someone else. I had to hold back the urge to press my flank against hers. That part of me. The two of us both not wanting to be friend, only in the end, we had both realized that Diana was no leader. She was just a princess and thought she could lead. Thats when we both left, only to join Abendrot, where they had waited over night, snuggling together in the hole of a tree. Both of us, fighting to prove we werent just any pups, we were survivors and we lived on, that is til I left. But that part of me was more then any other part. One where we could have a friendship, outside of all the other crap! Tears went down my cheeks as I remembered those days and nights me and Ivy spent together. Then she started calling me Rue, and it just stuck with me. I looked at her, a tear rolling down my cheek. Even though I knew it was a sign of weakness, I wasnt in the pack borders right now so I didnt have to hold back emotions. I looked at Ivy. ''Does that mean we can start mending us?''
