At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

I follow Jingle, and my eyes show amazement. "Wow, this is......undescribable....in a good way of course." When she lays down, I lay a fair enough distance away from her, so our muzzles touch if she lifts up her head & turns to me. I sigh and say, "Well, you would understand it better if you knew my past." I can feel a few tears running down my face, but my voice isn't effected. "Well, I have 5 full siblings. My father had many mates, including my mother. One of my mother's friends was also a mate of my father's, and soon my mother found out. She would always fight with our father, and even sometimes he would fight back and abuse us. We soon escaped, and found here." I take a deep breath before continuing. "So, I just found out today, at Sacred Stones, that my father killed my mother and was coming to kill us because we escaped. If you ever meet a wolf by the name of Walter, don't trust him. He's my father. He may look young, with dazzling deep green eyes, but in fact he's a medium adult, if you know what i mean, and likes to be flirty to girls." I look over at Jingle and sigh again saying, "So that's basically what happened. During my blackout, well, it was like a nightmare to me."
