Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

A dark paw came down upon a crimson blossom, crushing the delicate bud. The dirt-stained claws dug deep into the soil, uprooting the green of the flower to lay limp of the surface. With a chuckle Serris continued forward, leaving the dying plant behind without a second thought. Sure, a smile bobbed on his features, and it was true that he was content, but something else dug under his skin. Many newcomers had been showing up at his borders; the latest two had even gone out hunting on some ‘proving themselves’ whim of theirs, dragging back a bull moose and a stack of hare. With this he would be able to call his second official meeting, for food and ranks. But something bugged him and he hated it. Those two latest… something about those females pissed him off. He didn’t know what, they seemed too… unstable. And not in a murderous way, in a seriously screwed up way. He had nothing against those mentally unstable, they were actually quite fun to be around, but sometimes they were just too far into the odd section of insanity.

So, in an attempt to get away from it all for a few hours, he had found himself at Blossom Field. No reason for this location, really, he just let his limbs lead the way and soon his talons found the comfort of wilted ash. His dabble into the light side of the field was really just for simple amusement, a novelty really. Plopping down, Serris rolled onto his ribs and closed his aqua pools, breathing in the powdery air. How funny to think that just a year ago he had been like any other loner, wandering through the lands with no real contacts. Now he was the Alpha of a pack, and Munashii Gekko at that. His lips curled into a tiny smile. Plus he had Devil’s Angel under his command. That fae had stuck with the territory with all her might, and he really was impressed with her. Enough to consider her a Beta. But no, he couldn’t make that change so early; it would be creepy and slightly weird, he was sure. So many Gamma. Yes, Gamma would be good. As for the other ranks… Many hadn’t stuck around, but he’d have to call his warriors to him and see what he could do. It would look bad on his part to leave the other positions empty. So maybe he’d appoint a few in the lower spots. See how they did. Plus it wouldn’t hurt anybody to give a little change. Nodding, eyes still closed, Serris shifted in the barren meadow.

Another thought slipped into his mind, this one less pleasant. Kobato. That bitch had been rid from his life for a while now and he must say he was feeling much better. She was the only fae in the world who could embarrass him in such a way and laugh it off, and she was a mere pup on top of it. Yes, he was happy that girl had wandered off a moon or two again, leaving them all to their peace again. Yet… something inside of him growled, and not with hunger. Surely he hadn’t grow attached to the annoying lass? No, that was completely absurd. Still, he opened his portals and righting himself, glancing off to the side with a look that explained all of his inner emotions. Slapping his charcoal banner on the ground, he clumsily got up and began pacing, grumbling to himself annoyingly. Why was he letting that little brat ruin his day? This was a time to plan and celebrate! Still, he felt uneasy, as if something were bound to happen, and soon. Shaking his nape, the regal ripped off a long stem of wheat, chewing on it nervously.
