During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The air was starting to chill, as winter was coming, or rather, sneaking back into the forest. The occasional icy wind would brush up against his flank, stealing into the depths of his furry coat to cause him uncomfort, if only for a moment. At least his dark pelt kept in as much warmth as it could. Walking about the center of his pack, Serris pondered the upcoming meeting, knowing he would have to host it soon or chance losing more members to the torment of boredom and better opportunity. Well, he would just have to make it worth their while, now wouldn’t he? The trees were dark tonight, as the pale maiden above was hiding her face behind a veil of clouds, another sign of the changing weather. Despite the damp air, though, the regal still picked up on the scent of a new arrival slowly making their way to the borders. His sentries pricked, gaining as much information about the newcomer as he possibly could before confronting them face to face.

It was another female, go figure. It seemed all he had around here were those estrogen-filled demons. Oh well, he would gain males eventually. Maybe he’d make every fatale go out and find a mate for a bit of fun and recruitment. The silly thought brought a grin to his face, remaining there for a little while as he set off at a lazy trot for the borders. She had taken her sweet time getting to his territory, why couldn’t he? Gliding through the woods, the he-beast let his lithe frame and slender pistons propel him forward with the least bit of sound slipping off the end of his banner. This was a hunter, perfect in every aspect, ready to strike. The maiden’s howl suddenly rose, low and direct, indicating she had reached her destination. He arrived at the scene soon enough, the shrouded moon giving his pelt an unnatural glow, as if it had been dipped in liquid pearl. He stopped on his side of the fence, tassel raised in dominance. This lady would know he was Alpha of these lands, that was to be sure. Giving a slight smirk, the brute spoke across the line. “I would advise you to drop and show some respect before the night takes advantage of that pretty little frame.” His words were curt, but that’s how he wanted them. Always wanted to make a good impression, afterall.
