The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Baby, I Was Born Ready

That tiny snippet of fur hung in her mouth, almost as if she would swallow it. Yet, she didn't. Instead, she made sure to taste that lad's blood and spit it out, smothering it under her paw. Her gaze bore dangerously into Axel's. That idiot has no idea what he's doin'. She thought, daring to roll her eyes. Her paws were still on top of his, and she glared right nto his eyes. Ignoring the last remark he made, she began to tease him by suddenly snapping at his ears, or his jugular. She meant to miss, if she got him...lucky shot, eh? ;) That other remark got her up in his face, her words low and rich with honey.

"Well, you may not notice, baby, but you are humoring me."

She laughed at this, and as she was thrashed around, she innocently looked at him. Her amber optics were anything but innocent. Frankly, she used to think he was quite boring in his gentleman figure. But, now, he was fascinating. Very, very fascinating. He was agressive and strong, ruthless and somewhat territorial. That's how she liked her boys. They were like Cole, but better. By far. Axel was even more interesting than every other male she had ever met. Of course, most of them were desperate for a she-wolf companion, and some cheated, but this one was different. He had passion, you could say. A certain danger to him; of course, not as dangerous as her, but still dangerous. ;) As her mouth opened again, a laugh escaped her maw once more. Poor, smitten boy. She thought. I'll humor him all right. Then, the laugh quickly faded into soft words.

"Baby, you flatter me."

Nix purred, relaxing under the luxury near his throat. She could even hear his breathing, which she would hopefully be ceasing--and soon. He would look so..helpless hanging in her teeth. He was commiting suicide, this one. Even being near her would have an aura of danger about him. He would have to be careful, or he would be quite injured. Perhaps maimed, or if she was lucky, killed. His blood was her power--well, all of her victims' was. ;) The phoenix would circle him demandingly after his last announcement, but she was stuck to his teeth. This time, simple honesty was in her words. Not usually was she honest, mind you.

"Frankly, I don't care if you put pups in me or not. And, I think you've got yourself a deal, baby. A good one, at that. But, don't have your lump of coal for a brain think that I am attracted to you because I agreed. I equally despise you, Axel. Just so you know."

As she waited for his response, she sat down calmly and began grooming herself a bit. Her thoughts strayed to his anger and agression again, and she was immediately reminded of the impulsive Cole McGrath. He looked a bit like him, except all white, with black fur on his head. And those eyes were the same, those emerald optics. A shudder ran through her bodice, but not in fear. In the sick relationship of the flirtacious boys. Then, she stood up and ran her jawline across his neck, not biting down--not yet, at least. The phoenix wanted to taste him more, feel his throat on her maw. It was nice to know what a jugular felt like before she made it burst into liquid gemstones. Am I right? :)
