At Leisure Lake the sun is always shining and only a few stray clouds roam the open sky; paradise is the one word that really describes it. This beautiful lake is clean and refreshing, the very best place to swim and fish. Pups are known to play here while older wolves watch at the side, engaged in their own activities.

I can see the fear reflected back in Hachiko's eyes and it doesn't help much for reassurance. He looks at me and starts yelling about kicking my legs. Frustration manages to flash in my face. What does he mean? I am kicking! What does he think I'm doing?! I kick out again in panic and I feel myself rise a little before I start sinking again. My eyes widen again, the whites showing in fear. I see Hachiko slowly coming toward me, catching glances of his handsome face over the water's surface. Even in my panic, I try to focus on his face. Then I feel something grabbing my scruff and I gasp in shock but not pain. My head starts rising and I glance around in surprise to see Hachiko holding me. I relax in his embrace but then I get that he wants me to keep kicking. Oh right! I start kicking again, trying to focus on getting a rhythm this time. I struggle for a while, old panic still rising in me but I glance over at his legs, watching their motion and try to mirror it. Over time I find myself catching a rhythm and my eyes start to glow in shock and astonishment. Hey, I'm doing it! Hachiko must catch onto my confidence growing because after a while he lets me go and at first I panic but then I look over at his legs and try to mirror them again. This time I manage to stay above the water. I look over at him, my lips parted in excitement. I'm doing it! My eyes beam as I look over at him to see him staring right back at me. My cheeks heat up again but I smile right back. I'm doing it, Hachiko! I'm doing it! I bark in my ecstacy as I paddle around but looking over, I sense that he's getting tired. Just something about his face looks worn. I paddle around a few times before heading for shore. Once I'm there, I get out and shake off, looking over at Hachiko as I start jumping and running in circles as if I'm a puppy again. I did it! I did it! Once he's out of the water, I run at him, leaping at him as I start licking his face. And it's all thanks to you. I beam at him as I rub my neck against his, my eyes glowing with happiness. I did it!
