Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

silent, she comes through the night - desiring a silver light

Persephone had been told time and time again why they always made a wide circle around Moladion and never actually entered it, though curiosity kept her impatient and always asking again. As a child with some intelligence, she understood the reasons why that were given to her, but they didn't make her any less impatient or petulant about the wait. Someday, her mother and her sister would tell her before looking to her father. Persephone had turned to looking at Dude expectantly, too.

The time had already come and gone, however, to follow the great buffalo back into Moladion. The keen young lady couldn't help but notice how out of place and disheveled everyone around her seemed, but then she supposed that they knew exactly what the land had been before the star had fallen on them and brought about perhaps one of the greatest examples of the Everchange. They probably mourned a little more for it. The little dragon child, however, only knew Moladion to be what it was now before her - completely unexplored and unknown.

As soon as she had been given the opportunity, she had promised her mother she wouldn't go too far or get into any trouble, and then slipped off on her own to test the metaphorical waters of New Moladion. The plant life had grown in thick and lush, moreso than it had ever been on the Outer Rim, and it had been an interesting sensation to feel it brushing her limbs and her underbelly as she trotted down the incline to what looked to be a stretch of rocks and caves. She had been well aware at the time that she had wandered much further from her family than she told them she would, but she had become an independent young thing without much care for what she was told she could and couldn't do.

It was while skirting around the edges of various caves and crevices, mapping their entrances in her mind for later exploration, that she noticed the blur of something a similar dark shade to herself. The long-legged lass knew that many others had also returned to the crater-home, but curiosity was a bitch when one was young and she also couldn't hold back the nagging sensation that she needed to know where potential threats were until she was certain they were not a threat. So she slipped around a rising face of rock to peer at the other wolf-creature, who seemed to be intently in the pursuit of something small, and stared with her one pale, good eye.

And then, she couldn't shake the fact that there was something familiar about the other girl. It could have just been the dark coloration, or the fact that she was lanky just as she was, or even the fact that she was a very similar age to herself. Whatever it was, Persephone squared her shoulders and huffed a simple but firm 'woof'.

leaving, with dusk in her eyes - descending from paradise
