The Rules
  • There will be no fraternizing with enemies. If you put yourself knowingly in danger, don't expect a rescue.
  • We are only as strong as our weakest link. See to it that you are getting stronger in some skill that is useful, whether it is battling, recruiting, charming, etc.
  • The King and Queen have final say in all matters.

I was, quite frankly, upset by the mare and colt whom stood at my feet. They had seemed nice, yet now the mare seemed to be taking possession of a herd I rightly claimed, and throwing me away from my mere greeting to her son. I am not an over sensitive equine, but any would be shocked by this volatile display. I do not let my upset show, although possibly my smile turned for the worst, just a little. This was my herd, and I wasn't going to throw it to the dogs, or some mare who thought she was 'lead mare'. No way. It was mine, and rightfully too. No one could take it from me without a fight.

"I hate to disagree, El Aran, but I think you'll find this herd is now mine. Your leader, or yourself, left it inactive for too long, and so I claimed it. I apologize for touching your son uninvited, but I only intended to show my welcome. You may stay in the desert as residents, but due to your poor amount of respect, I am less willing to put you as second, or queen. Should you perhaps show more respect, maybe I'll be more inclined to do so." There. I've made my speech, and maybe now she'll see how shocked I was at her rude proclamation, and her greeting also. I try my best, and at times I fail to think before I act, like with my greeting of her son, but sometimes situations like these can be handled more maturely, and by merely telling me to effectively 'back off', i wasn't too impressed. Should she wish to be Queen of the herd, perhaps I could tolerate her, but she'd have to buck up her ideas and show me a little more respect for that to happen. I'd rather have a mare I loved as queen, but I suppose should El Aran and her colt refuse to leave, I'd have to make exceptances. She'd better start thinking about manners, I have to say, for I can't tolerate rude mares who think they run it all.
