Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

I hear the call of Isola first, a call I haven't heard yet but one I would recognize anyway by the graceful air of the message. And then a more familiar voice joins in, more masculine. This one I would know anywhere. Kane. My tail gives a wave as I bound toward the call, sure that I won't be the first. Sure enough, I crest a hill to see many wolves gathering around my son and his chosen mate. Pride swells in my chest at such a sight. It was tough to decide not to take over a pack once more but I knew that I'd made the right decision. I had put my family second for too long and now it was time for a fresh start, a new beginning and I want to do it right.

I had made the decision with Kiska that we would be joining the pack of Kane and Isola. Kane has been trained for this since birth and Isola has watched her parents become the greatest alphas in Moladian. I have no doubt in her abilities to rule beside my son. Even as I crest the hill where they are, I see familiar figures and some not so familiar. I notice Malina, the crafty little she-wolf that took a pinch of my hair to Heyel for an errand one time. I see the markings of Heyel's clan, males and females with tell tale marks of "Angels" as he likes to call them. And finally I see the porcelain cloak of the angel King himself. A smirk tugs at my lips as I venture down toward the group, keeping my paws silent.

I sneak up behind the older male, leaning in close. Boo. A single whisper into his ear before I brush past him to dip my head toward Kane and Isola. My son's eyes are glowing at my approach. Apparently he didn't expect me to come so quickly to his call. I give a small smile to Isola as well. If you'll have a devil amongst your horde of angels, I'll gladly follow, my son. I could not ask for a lovelier queen. I glance at Isola as I offer my compliment, before heading off to take a seat, head turning quizzically to look for Kiska. I note the presence of another of my blood, Chance, and my eyes glow with pride in my other son. He looks healthy and happy, a brute of strength just like Kane. I go over to him, sitting down next to him. You look well, Chance. I see you've decided to join your brother. He could not ask for a better warrior.
