At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Niall looked up at Kaidren and kept his ears perked and all. For this, it was a weird feeling because he normally didn't act like this but managed to kep it smooth flowing. How was that possible? He sometimes wished he was still his normal self, and would one day, get back to it.

There was one issue though. How would the others react if they found out himself liked Kaidren, and even worse, if, they were mates. He knew one person would be mad, two actually. He never got to telling rhea that it was over between them two, and then Lola would be pissed because she was already pissed at her for telling rhea off.

He sighed quietly, looking down at the ground after she was finished speaking. He tried to make the moment a bit happier by saying, "So maybe that's why you always catch rabbits." He laughed a little and took another bite of the rabbit that she had caught for him.

He chewed for a little while on that one chunk of hare meat, draining the taste out of it and letting it coat his throat and mouth to actually taste it. He then swallowed the meat and licked his chaps. He had to admit, rabbit was good in a way. He thought it tasted like chicken, and he did have chicken before.

When he had lived in ireland, he mostly looked like a dog in everyone's view. Mostly he wandered the town, and he first had tried chicken from a store named Nandos. He loved their chicken so much that he had it for every meal. But no, he's gotten used to outside food, instead of the 2 legger's food.

"Have you ever had chicken? To me, it's quite yummy, and it tastes exactly like this rabbit." He smiled and continued eating the rabbit, taking little stops in between to enjoy it's flavoring.

When he felt a cold breeze come across his back, he shivered a bit and looked up. The sky was darkening. Suddenly, not on purpose though, he let out a yawn.
