Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

This shit was bananas. B-A-N-A-N-A-S. Virago had never heard words like the ones spoken between apparent siblings back and forth like she wasn't there at all. Her head tilt goes further if that was even possible in awe and confusion that there was another language other than the one she was aware of. Her eyes grew wide in her black face, and she watched them back and forth. She momentarily forgot that the first wolf, the boy about her own age was talking to her until she realized he was asking her questions. And that the other wolfess was asking her questions. The way they pieced the words together was awkward and Virago was not convinced that they were from Moldaion in general. He spoke something about letting them know that it was safe to return to the crater that was left in the wake of a falling star. She choose her words carefully. "Oh." But quickly the conversation shifts towards who she was and what she was doing and Virago sits up a little more and feels a little overwhelmed. All she wanted to do was figure out what he was howling about.

She looked towards the older wolfess, her ears flattening against her skull. "I am Virago, the daughter of Harridan, the First Sister, and Caius. Who are you two?" It was clear that she loved her Mother and knew more about her than her father. But then again, Harridan was always a little bit quiet about who her father was, what he was like and what he looked like. Her sterling mother always said that Virago took after her father more than her own, but Virago always thought it was a good thing. And then she returns to her attention to the other. "I was hunting rabbits for dinner, for myself and my mother." She stretches and yawns, before collapsing on the ground and tilting her head as he speaks to his look a like.

As she lays on her sternum, those dark pink eyes that sparkle out from her black brow, with her tongue lolling from an open mouth. She sighs and calls them out. "Hey so look, if you're gonna speak in your gibberish...I'm gonna go because, really, I'm not going to sit here and pretend I understand any of it." She gave them a half-heartedly apologetic smile and a soft wag of her tail. Virago had not really inherited politeness from either parent and the lack of filter led to her speaking her mind. She was not afraid of either wolf or much of anything really. "I mean, rabbits are only going to be up till the sun goes down." It was a perfect reason get this party started.
