Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Dark gold rays of sunlight slanted through the scant trees. In the open air above the creek the light came in patches, obscured by the clouds. Even in the afternoon hour, the day was warm and still. Banner blinked as a cloud moved and the sun brushed across her face. In that moment the little red she wolf noticed Ban. The stranger was not afraid, but instead seemed gladdened at Ban’s presence. Banner herself was thrilled with this reaction, and matched the red wolf’s bow.

Now that she was close enough, Banner could get a better look at the other wolf. As she had previously noticed, the wolf’s fur was bright and red. Ban glanced back at her own muddy pelt. She snickered at herself. One could barely tell what color it was. Banner had also always considered herself small among others. But it looked as if this she wolf was even smaller than she. Similar in height but the other girl was slighter. Ban twitched her black nose and attempted to concentrate as the other wolf made her move.

Hips wriggling in anticipation, Banner pounced out to bat at the rock the she wolf tossed. She rolled it away with the side of her paw much like a kitten. The stone bounced away and Banner’s momentum kept her bounding toward the creek. She had splashed into the shallows before she could stop, giggling as the water swished gently about her legs. Her fluffy ears stood straight up atop her head to wait and see if the red wolf would chase the rock.
