The Cavern of Secrets holds much more than you can imagine. Once a forbidden place, the ban on entrance has been released...yet, is it a good idea to enter?

Once a great battle had been fought in this cavern, against a dark beast that had once - and still might - dwell here. No one knows where he disappeared to, but there are rumours...

Zev was slightly shocked at Sierra's sudden reply. He decided right then that we would join a pack with her, just for the sake of friendship. He jumped on and on but he did not feel the trip going anywhere. Maybe this was just a strange wall with bulges of rock jutting out from them. Zev did not know. He smiled brightly when Sierra complimented him on his words. The way she described them, simple yet absolute, was such a wonderful way of giving the words he thought of adjectives. "Thank you very much. I am a very deep wolf, thinking about the way others live and such. Sometimes I wonder why they could be so naive, but that is just being naive in itself." He thought about himself for a moment. The way he did things, said things. He concluded in himself that he was in fact a deep wolf, and someday that might be put to the test. He would be prepared. Sierra was probably the wolf that would be as deep as himself.

He sat at the top of the ledge, waiting for Sierra to reach the top. The walls were packed together, almost artificially, like they were planted there for a reason. He let the thought out of his mind and focused on something else. He had no idea why his lungs were not getting clouded, seeing the dankness of the cavern. He wondered why he had not felt anything, but dismissed the thought, knowing not all things can be answered. He sat, trying to look around for things that might be able to continue their journey, but indeed he saw nothing. Sierra came up to join him, and he could hear the heaviness of her breath. He accepted the act of going back down instead of the dankness and the musty air. He decided that he would sit there and try to look for something and leave her to do what she wanted. After not even a second of silence, we was almost to the last ledge, coming after her. This place would be another adventure for another day, he vowed.

His pads skipped over the rock, and after they escaped deeper into the cave, the darkness swallowed them once more, but he knew he was behind Sierra. "Oh, and yes, I do infact think that you and I would create quite a face-off if we went hunting." He just answered her 'challenge' and hoped that she would not say anything else on that topic, because it was indeed a rhetorical question. He followed her deeper into the cave, and the air started to get a little more wet, as it was in the first cavern they entered. He could scent the excitement coming off of Sierra's pelt and that influenced him to do the same. Something was up ahead, he thought. But perhaps he couldn't put his finger on it.
