Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

R I O
when God is gone, and the Devil takes hold
"rio." he gave no pause nor hesitation when she had asked him who he was. he had no reason to, just as he had no reason to hide who he was. which was simply rio. while the stranger with the fox tail did not seem cruel, she also did not seem very welcoming. but there was no threat nor malice to her voice and body language, and so rio did not feel the need to retreat. all he could pick up on was a simple wariness, and why should she not be wary? he was a stranger to her, a stranger to these lands- and he had taken to quietly sitting by and listening to her song. now, perhaps she had not wanted him, nor any other soul to hear the song she gave. the red head had not thought of this before hand, and silently chastised himself for such an un-gentleman like thing. for all purposes of the word, rio is a gentleman.

though when she stands to take several steps closer to him, he takes this as a good sign. if she wanted nothing to do with him, she would have surely moved away- not toward him. cocking his skull to the right as he watched her with bright, golden citrine eyes, he felt the urge to ask her in turn who she was, and so he did. "and who are you?" his voice was deep, masculine, though not with any sort of musical lilt to it. instead, it was mellow, something that would be considered a comfort to the senses. rio hoped not to make a bad or negative impression on her. she was the first wolf he had come across in this new, strange land, the first wolf he had come across in quite some time, really. since the time he had left bright moon.

he did not stand as she had, nor did he raise his tail any. the only gesture he gave was the curling of his tail around his paws, the tip of it curling slightly upward after doing so. the fur on his tail was the same colour as the deep russet that covered the rest of him, save for the splash of pale creme upon his chest, and light dusting of the same colour upon his chin. with much learned patience and politeness, rio waited for the strangers reply to his question, so that hopefully she would not remain a stranger for much longer.
