During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

The Way of the Warrior

Aindreas’ white plume whipped back and forth as he watched the fae. He had originally thought her to be an adult, the darkness skewing his vision, but as he watched her, his orbs adjusted and he realized just how small she was.

You are naught more but a pup…”His voice was quiet, but by no means soft. It still held the remnants of scratchiness from disuse. He hadn’t meant to utter the words out loud, and he hardly heard them, for his memories were drifting back to his own puphood, which had happened increasingly more as of late.

His mother – dead. All alone. He wandered to the edge of this very back, and a sentry had found him, much as he had found her. He had been told that Munashii Gekko was no place for pups, and indeed, it wasn’t. And yet he had been brought into the pack, and told he could stay if he could survive. And here he was now, life had run full circle.

His orbs blinked and he returned to the present. His nares flared as the stench of fresh blood wafted through his olfactory system, and his twin towers pinned as he heard the pup whimper. His icy blue gaze looked the little thing over, her frame petite. Aindreas didn’t know whether to applaud the pups bravery for coming so close to this terra or reprimand her for the same reason. But then, his gaze locked upon hers, and he saw the fear laying in her bright orbs. The pup tried to scoot away, but stopped, no doubt in pain from her fresh injury. Aindreas had no sense of paternal instinct, and the situation unnerved him. He faintly remembered his mother coddling and crooning to him whenever he managed to hurt himself, but then… Aindreas was not the coddling type.

The brute shifted his weight uncomfortably from one front paw to the other, wishing that his alpha was here to deal with the pup. But then again… just how would the alpha ‘deal’ with the pup. Death? A fresh meal? Whatever the alpha decided, Aindreas would abide by… but a small urge deep within him tugged at the icy block laying hidden in his chest. One urging him to care for the pup.

He opened his white maw again and gruffly asked “What are you doing here? State your name and your business… the alpha should be along shortly.” However, when the fae continued to stare at him, he spoke once more, this time softer, in what he hoped would be reassuring, although his vocals still lent a hard harsh voice. “Are you alright, pup?
