My c o l d desire
to hear the boom, boom,
b o o m of your heart
She was patient. She would wait. She would wait to see his muddy golden eyes open and grow wide to see her teeth at his throat. It was almost ironic really. The day was beautiful, the sun shining, and the birds singing, and Caligula had plans to dash out the life of the unclean. It did not take long, she watches as his fur rises on his scruff, and she knew he sensed him. Even unclean, he was still related to her beloved mother and even in her crazed state she was not a creature to be overlooked. Some of it must of rubbed off on this half-breed. He twitches though, leaving her without easy access to his jugular and carotid. Damn. She snarls further, though it's silent. Plans ruined just meant that it would be a slower, more painful death for him.
He shouldn't have moved.
She watches as he cowers, but he looks nervous. Maybe she hadn't made her intentions clear. She lashes out at his neck, now so cleverly protected by his jaws. Her teeth make contact and she clamps down, mostly on the skin and the subcutaneous tissue. And she savagely rips through, her head shaking and her jaws clamp shut. She feels the tension suddenly lessens, and that metallic taste of blood falls onto her tongue. The warm drink that spoke of victory, that spoke of the unclean life spilling out and scattering itself to the winds. It fuels her bloodlust. It reminds her what it was like to snap Ajax's leg within her jaws.
She lets go of the skin flap, and lunges again. Silently. Savagely. This time her teeth find the hard skull and grapple for a hold if only for a moment. Teeth graze down the side of his face, over his blind eye. Again she adjusts her hold, trying to grab hold of his head within her jaws so that she could shake him the way she would shake a rabbit or some other small prey. That's all he ever really was...prey.

And I might just tear you apart
