Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

I venture toward the western crator, making sure to avoid the areas that are filled in caverns and darkness. I don't like caves much. I don't even like my den most of the time. I guess I'm a little claustrophobic. I have some fun leaping over the rocks like a gazelle though, testing myself and I slip only once. Okay, maybe twice but no more than that.

Deciding to get away from the rocks for now, lest Anemone and Conner didn't get my agility in their DNA, I head over toward the sounds of rushing water. My tail sways behind me, long lean legs maneuvering me forward as I race over the grass, pushing myself with every stride. By the time I reach the water fall, I'm panting, my tongue lolling out of my mouth in satisfaction, golden eyes gleaming with life. My tail sways side to side as I go to the edge of the pool, stepping forward till my ankles are soaked in the water. Lowering my head, I take deep refreshing laps of the water, raising my head only to lick at my lips.

Shaking out my coat as I step back as if I've been swimming, I throw my head back, calling out for my imprint and children. I don't know if they'll even hear me but I try anywhere for the hope that they could be close by. I want to see her again. I have to see her again. And better yet, I want to meet them. I want to know what my children are like.
