The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

She had only been part of Blossom Forest for a few days. Nothing had interested the faes fancies. She had heard of the packs that lived within the forest. Spring Grounds was weak and pathetic, Cold Summers was rules by a man-whore, and the others had no structure except for the basic Alpha, Beta blah blah blah. There was one exception, Abendrot. She had heard of the rigorous training and their leader Kershov. It was a military styled pack with the training and the passion she was looking for. A smirk spread across her kissers as she thought about what she could bring to the pack.

Kaylpso was getting closer to the pack borders when she heard a howl split the silent air. She heard paw steps race through the wooded area towards the howl of the Alpha. It was a perfect opportunity to see what Abendrot was all about. She picked up her slow trot to a slightly faster canter. She blended her fur into the brush surrounding the area and waited for her time.

She saw the Magnificent King of Abendrot sitting proudly waiting for his soldiers and spies. It only took a few moments for one or two to appear. She stay hidden in the brush, her coat was a perfect fit. the hues and color mixed to create the perfect cloak. She crouched where she was and listened. Kershov was explaining something to a pair of wolves; maybe a spies and soldier. The Queen had apparently disappeared and he needed a quick replacement. She smiled it was her chance to show her true skills. There was no need for an explanation as to what was coming next.

The "Queens" voice came from the brush "Kershov there is no need to replace me... I am still here." Kaylpso smirked at her skills. She decided to wait for a reaction to the "queen's" sudden "re-appearance." This might be interesting or it might be her death.
