raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens
The sun streaks through the small den she'd formed for herself, braken flowed over the entrance to help try and hide the hole from others, Ever liked to have her own space even though she loved to be in contact with others. Perticularly one golden boy of this pack though she'd only spotted him breifly at the hunt she hadn't thought that he lived in the same pack-lands as her. What were the odds of that? she let out a wide silent yawn closing those golden pumpkin spice eyes as her mouth opens wide. She's laying on her side the soft moss she'd laid out the night before making a nice pillow for her slender body as it slowly began to stretch out, her back legs growing stiff as her toes point out behind her front legs digging softly into the wall of the den as she stiffens her back and then grows slack.
Her panting is soft as she slowly rolls onto her belly and wiggles her way out of the almost to small hole, she's close to the river and finds the sound of splashing to be the real thing to have woken her but deep within her mental brain, so far up in the clouds of her dreams she remembers the sound of a call. Not for arms but for people, a meeting of sorts. She lets another yawn slip from her lips as she breaches the den and leans down on her front paws and stretches her back one more time, the splashing was heard again but soon lost in the paw falls of someone who raced towards the call. She had been here just as long as the others it seemed but she had done little to find her way around this land. Deciding to stay in the backdrop until she got a better feel for things.
She races after the other wolf though, knowing that if she looses the foot falls of the other that she will loss the location of the meeting in due time, she doesn't follow as close to see the other until she breaks free of her alone-ness and finds a small group forming around the black wolf that she'd seen leading the hunt, a possible leader, next to him stood two young wolves, one probably just a bit younger than herself while the other was nothing more than a small pup. Sitting beside the black male was the dark female she'd seen down at the waters edge and had feared she had covered in the cool liquid. And in front of them all was the golden boy himself.
"PAN!" forgetting all manners and respect for what was going on she launched herself from a stand still and landed next to him, her paws had eaten up the distance between the two in seconds as she coiled her back leg muscles and pounced on Pan her front paws looping over his shoulders as she nips playfully at his ears. FINALLY! someone she knew, not well but knew all the more than the others. She had ignored the leader for the moment not out of disrespect but she was over joyed with the prospect of having someone to tag along with and find out new things about this place. Her pumpkin spice eyes find the dark male and she slowly climbs down from Pan and sits next to him a wiggle in her entire body as she tries to hold herself still.
"Good day sir," she says to him with a small nod of her head before turning her attention to the female next to him, her eyes white, pale as if she was... Ever's mouth turns into a silent ooh before she re-collects herself and bashfully greets the female "Ma'am" she says politely enough and turns to give the older of the two young males a nod of her head as well and then she sees the pup and can't help but give a small squeal of a yip "aren't you the most adorable thing ever!" she says inching closer but staying well enough away as to not appear to want to smoother the poor dear. She's so excited to see who else will show up now that she turns to Pan with a lopsided grin "I didn't know you lived here!" she whispers to him and hopes that afterwards they can meet up again and perhaps have one of those adventures he was talking about on the outter rim.
