Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Amber eyes narrowed slightly as the powerful snowy male watched the young one run. The white wolfess was in pursuit and yet it was clear enough to Risk, a male who knew all too well the shame of short legs, that the wolfess had lost her meal to the jaws of the grey thief who raced ahead. Risk stayed where he was, positioned atop the small ridge, his snowy pelt concealed in the trees, watching with wary suspicion as the young vandal ran on before settling down some distance away to enjoy his stolen meal. Risk scowled. He had never managed to see the fun in activities such as that, even as a child and really, he cannot be blamed for the way he is, his obsession with order and rules surely the result of his upbringing. After all, he was raised almost solely by Hazard and indeed any wolf who has spent even the barest moments in the company of the little black wolfess knows well indeed that she lacked any form of sense. It had never mattered to Risk of course, he had adored her, protected her, loved her when no others would and indeed he feels her loss even now. His Mother was all he had left, his siblings, true born and adopted had all died in the fall of the sky, his Sire had abandoned him long before that and his Father.......Risk still hoped Faol’an was alive, somewhere, he’d gotten him out of Paracon yet lost sight of him when he’d run back for Scarlet. He never found Niviaq and even now that loss burns within him, as does the loss of Hazard and his siblings.

He should have done more. He should have tried harder.

He sighed as he stood, shaking the thoughts away as he leapt from the ridge, powerful form and rippling muscle moving and rolling with ease beneath his pelt as he made his way towards the young thief. He hardly knew why he bothered, the boy would surely just shout at him or attack him and yet, for whatever reason Risk cannot bring himself not to care, not to try and assist to boy in some way and steer him from this path of thievery. Ever since his run in with his Uncle Hadrian, caught kidnapping puppies of all things, Risk had lost all patience for thieves. One as young as this however, could surely be helped and true to his nature, Risk is unable to turn away. He moved softly and yet slowly so as not to alarm the dark male, parting the undergrowth to emerge from the shadows and indeed, for one, Risk is pleased to find that he is taller then someone. More often than not he is towered over, yet few have the muscle to outweigh the wolfish-pitbull he had become. He paused a short distance off, posture calm and easy as he sat, lips parting to speak, to tell the boy off for having stolen- for a start, before getting ready to offer him some kind of help- when he found himself looking again.

The scent was familiar. He frowned, amber eyes creasing as his head tilted in contemplation, moving forward slowly once more with almost disbelief on his features.

“K...Kavik? Is that you, Brother?”
