Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

but I won't let this world wipe me out

Well then, things were starting to get interesting for everybody except her. Ava had some task with Heyel; Azrael was kept busy with some girl (hilarious!) and had stolen one of Iromar's wolves and even Micteca and that Khaleesi thing had things to do. Malina, though? Nothing. Her wound had healed but she'd been unsuccessful in tracking down Vague - it seemed he was much more content hiding in Iromar once the bounty had been placed. Honestly, he'd attacked Amir and Aaliyah? Sure, Aaliyah was a strange topic for Malina - she had, after all, consorted with demons - but nonetheless, she was Heyel's very daughter. Honestly it was if the poor wolf had a head full of dirt and stupid - sigh, oh well. When the time came, it would be Malina that got her bounty on him. She'd make sure of it. Sorry Azrael (and even Ava), but that one was hers.

Had she given up her search? No, of course not. If she even stopped for a moment, the others would undoubtedly take her prize. Instead, she spent more time outside of Diveen than within - each and every crevice of each and every crater was explored and every scent snuffed out. She'd found a few other interesting scents - that Seren girl or that Daemon boy - but they had no prize on them and thus went ignored. No, no, she had another place that she had not been to in at least two days - the mid eastern crater. So it wasn't the usual haunt for the Iromar wolves but maybe they knew that! Maybe they knew that Malina knew, that it wasn't their usual hang out so they would go there in hopes of avoiding her (because why would she go where they weren't usually?). Outsmarted! Nobody could outsmart the immaculate wit and cleverness that Malina possessed - not even Heyel himself! - a thought that caused her to chuckle girlishly to herself as she jogged about the crater's central regions. So far it seemed there were no Iromar wolves about but surely that just meant they were hiding further into the crater and besides, she had been doing quite a good job at keeping herself amused. She thought of fun ways to confuse and make Micteca and Khaleesi screw up - subtlety interfere whenever she got the chance - and she thought of all the possible places Azrael could have been hiding his female. She wasn't all business - actually, she had no contracts or business - so we was much more inclined to take on her own tasks. Kill demons, find demons, annoy those passing by and try to lure rogues back into Diveen so that one day she could receive a nice, nifty promotion. It would have been, for the most part, basic pack work if she wasn't so damn good at it. Recruiting was the easiest way to get into Isola's good books.

Perhaps that is what brought her attention to the strange form of another laying by the lakeside - a rogue, of course, but the scent was... different. It felt familiar but she could not be so sure - she'd probably just encountered it sprayed all over a tree or smudged all over a rock. Sigh - rogues were so gross at times. Either way, the lady was elderly and in shambles; puckered scars and listless, dull eyes but something about her drew Malina in, her trajectory changing as she jogged (or rather bounced) towards the female. She took some moments to look over the female - once again, strangely familiar. The red that flanked over the girl's form was too similar to the Angel Marks worn by Heyel's children for her to ignore - if Azrael had been praised for bringing home some white dog then surely Malina would have a feast in her honor for bringing home an Angel. Still, she was sick of fake Angels and this one was no different.

"You look like a wolf I used to know," she huffed, coming to a halt some distance from the female - she remained standing, her paws squishing about in the sand as she watched over the lake, her gaze not even flickering back to the other, "Just like this lake looks like one I used to know."

Actually, when she side ways glanced at the scabbed up wolf beside her (she kept her distance, not so sure if they were scars or some kind of horrible flesh eating disease), she noticed the really obvious similarities. She had Azrael's eyes though they were more like... dull rocks than eyes. And that face... no, it was far too familiar. A fake Angel. The mother of Angels had died a long time ago - she had watched her Master and his children mourn for more than long enough over her death. This half eaten female was not an Angel and was a Fake - she was impersonating a wolf of legends. Suddenly suspicious, her ears flickered back slightly as her head slowly turned to meet the other's gaze - she remained silent, her lips pursed slightly as her eyes narrowed in concentration. Yes, if you squinted it looked just like Zeivah but no, with wide eyes... no. Too lifeless, too... dirty and not nearly lively enough. Zeivah was an Angel - a fighter and a diplomat, she was where Isola got her kindness and Azrael... well, he got her eyes but that was about it.

"Give me your name, wolf," she finally spoke, eyeing the other suspiciously. Yes, she would see just how far this wolf's impersonation went. Would she have the guts to claim the wrong name? Silly fool - Heyel was no longer King. You could not fool him to gain a Kingdom, no, no, not at all.
