Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

The ears of the golden boy turned, handsome young features angling towards the sound of his name within the air as the boy of beaten gold and gleaming copper allowed his lips to lift into an ever-gorgeous grin at the approaching female as he raised himself to his paws once more. He has decided to entertain such a tradition, merely and purely experimental that he has learned about of late, standing in the presence of a lady as she enters and, really, he is quite eager to see the results of the adoption of such a social convention as he tail waves a moment behind him, the gesture a greeting in itself before he sits once more, Everchime taking a place beside him. After all, he has become more comfortable with the girl of late. Salem has been oddly absent and indeed it seems the boy has begun to have the need to fill up the empty space in his ‘pack’, that small collection of wolves he likes to think of as his own, his adopted family of sorts seeing as Seven is the only one he has left. Perhaps it is a result of the fall of the sky, of some sub-conscious developed in a boy who had lost everything so young and yet for whatever reason he likes to keep his own collection of chosen others, those he deems worthy of his friendship, those he seeks out and hunts with as he and Seven and Salem had for two years and with the lack of the later he has come to the decision that Everchime is worthy of such a spot, to be his chosen female companion within the pack and to join the ‘gang’ as it were. Though unseen and very easily covered, the young male dislikes change, grows uncomfortable with it and indeed, for much of his coming adult-life he will cling to certain others and places. Intelligence is not always a gift and sometimes his mind overpowers even his will to understand such things are reactions to stress. Yet Everchime has been added to what Pan deems is his, just as Seven, Slaem and even Selene and Malina have become. There are so few females he is comfortable around, that those he is, have become important- special.

Obsidian eyes, as dark as the night ever was, lifted upward as another, a snowy coloured female made her way to the gathering from behind the unfortunately named Sulan, taking a seat to the aside as Pan watched her a few moments before allowing that easy grin to swing back across his features, lifting to his paws to nod a greeting of sorts before turning at the scent of his Brother. Of all those within this world, it is Seven who means the most, his favoured brother, even if his Mother was Prae and not Justice, the shared Father had been enough to untie the two boys agianst the world itself. Seven always understood, always and in doing so Pan lived to protect him, to teach him, to keep him safe. Seven was everything and surely that much was clear as the brothers embraced a moment, Everchime reaching up to lick away a strand of grass from atop his head, Pan turning towards her with a gorgeous grin all the same.

“Thank you Ever, I did not notice such flora had become entangled within my fur and Seven you must remember to be more specific in that which you are asking, brother. Ever is a girl and my friend and yet that is the extent of our relationship. To what were you referring?”

His head tilted easily to the side, curious as to his brothers words before Natalya entered, the black-eyed young male offering her a nod before he moved to seat himself once more, Seven and Ever flanking his sides as his attention returned to Sulan, the male seeming somewhat overwhelmed by Pan’s earlier words, chuckling as he attempted to sooth the young males tirade of questions as he shifted between Ever and Seven, brushing momentarily against the girl, her nervousness seeming to cloy the air around him. Perhaps she too, didn’t like change though she seemed less adapt at hiding such a thing. Perhaps she could be taught to improve upon that. His thoughts lingered on the topic no longer however as Sulan spoke of his name and attempted to infer some degree of trust, the golden boy regarding him almost warily a moment.

“Your name is familiar in some regard. Did you perhaps know my Father, Indus? I am sure I have heard your name before, yet, in regards to the manner of the flooding I cannot say I am inclined to trust you on such a thing. I do not know you and I find myself not yet willing to trust your judgement. What qualifications in the assessment of weather do you possess?”

The words were neither arrogant nor intent to be teasing in any way, the powerful young male is genuinely curious of such a thing, his features open and easy though perhaps somewhat wary. Pan does not trust readily, not truly and while he is content in Sulan’s company he is not yet willing to offer more then that.
