Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Genisys its only the beginning

The breeze tickled her fur as the sun began falling faster and faster into it’s hidden home. Soon it would be dark. Genisys didn’t mind the darkness of the night. She’d been on her own for most of her life and yes, at first the dark had been scary. There were sounds, smells, unseen movement. It had freaked her younger self out. Now, she had grown to like it. She welcomed the shade that hid her so well. In a way, it reminded her of her brother. As darkness fell her other senses began to heighten. She could smell the scent of the flowers before her mixed with the death of the ones that had been burned earlier in the year. She could see the flowers sway gently in the breeze. She could hear the fae’s innocent question linger in the air. Innocence. That was something Genisys found in stories. She closed her eyes, smiling slightly before opening her lids and revealing her green stargazers. “I used to live here when I was younger. I had…left for a little while but now I am back. I’m looking for my brother.”

She glanced at Darklight before turning to look at the sky. She was comfortable here. Darklight. What an interesting name. She wondered if it had a deeper meaning or if it were just another name. Did it have to do with her personality? Some things were a mystery. The entire world was a mystery for one to explore. Genisys yawned slightly, “What about you?” As the girl spoke, Gen listened. Her curiosity grew. What had caused her absence from a pack to be a blessing? Gensisys would give anything to be back in her pack with her mother, father, and her brother. Even though it had been three years, she still missed those days. She had to grow up too fast. There was no childhood for this fae. “I am sorry, leaving a pack should be a tragedy not a blessing.” She paused, clenching and unclenching her jaw before speaking again. “May I ask why it’s a blessing?”

She didn’t mean to pry. Maybe she should take it back. Too late now the question had already been asked. Maybe this was just her way of making conversation, getting to know someone else. Or maybe she was just too curious and needed to working on her social skills. Who knew? Gen sure didn’t.
