He has been thinking again, wondering if his mother would have been happy with the way he turned out. He knew his father would have been, the brute had been strong in his own right, but either way it had not mattered very much in the end had it? They were both gone, and he had moved with the flow of things far earlier than even he had expected. Of course, he had not known either of them, only hearing stories of Abraxus and Teagan through the Scots of the past. Jehu had not been one to speak of the past much, and for this Ravan had always been thankful. With the message he had been given, Ravan had been a bit lazy about the whole "give them hell" thing. Honestly, he had not done much except laze around and pout. His monochrome vision had slowly begun to filter in his surroundings, snow had once again begun to blanket the world.
Movement catches his attention, and his lavender and yellow eyes search for its cause. There, prancing in the snow, was a tiny little slip of a female. He is moving before he realizes and the motion forward causes a branch to snap on his shoulder. He freezes as the sound crackles through the air. Her movements halt, head snapping around in his direction and he is trapped, her gaze upon him as he stays still as she. Color bleeds into his vision as he meets her gaze, intense, bright, and almost painful as grey filters through with the subtle shading of the world around him. Something within him clicks into place like the hammer of a gun, shifting into place as he stares openly at her, realizing her fears because he feels them as well. She fears him, readies to flee, and instantly he is almost crippled by the weight it throws on his chest. His brows furrow and his black ears swing back on their axis, head dropping to show no threat. Her body seems to glow with the intensity of her darker shading, every detail of her popping out and leaping at him. But those eyes, teal and white had never looked so good before in his life.
He falls, for her, hard, and he feels himself tied to her. His head is spinning like a top and he never wants it to end, he moves toward her, slowly, expression more like the shell shocked victim after a bomb explodes to closely to him. Eyes wide as he openly gawks, struck to awe in her beauty. She has to be the most beautiful thing he has ever seen in his life, more beautiful than anything he could compare her to. He moves forward as if entranced, his pupils dilated wide to catch every detail of her stunning face. If he were old enough, he would have asked her to be his forever right then and there. But, what is this feeling and why is she so beautiful it hurts? Love at first sight they say. He clears his throat and shakes his head. "Excuse me, but...What were you just doing?" He tries to play it cool, but he isn't quite sure just how well that ended up playing out. Why does he feel this way? What just happened, and why did all the color return? What is this and how come Jehu said nothing about females being witches and being able to make him feel this way?
He moves into a sitting position as slowly he comes back into himself. Blinking with the intensity of color. This was her, the one he had attempted to risk the water crossing for. The one he has been searching for, and one part of him already knew it. He had felt the need, and now it was gone. What was this?
