Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

d'Mani's approach cause for a jolt in Latika's body to be seen. She was like a Mexican jumping bean, every few seconds something would make her jolt in some way. Neurotic really, it was sad because she was once a care free girl. She tilted her skull, d'Mani seemed to not be a threat towards her, her actions were proving to be more kind. This struck her as odd but of course she went with it. She nods her head as to the question of her name. There was a small smile on her lips, it was faint but it was there. If she was not going to hurt her maybe she was sent out to grab "new meat" for the leaders? Now now, Latika really needed to get her mind away from that pack, not all packs were like her latest one, right? She could only hope.

It was a breath of fresh air actually to have one talk her her in a friendly tone. Glorall, the place was beautiful and Latika had a calming affect from it. Once again she nods her head and allows a soft spoken voice to come out of her mouth "Yes, yes it is, beautiful really" Her angelic tones flutter around like two butterflies flirting with the air. Her gaze was taken away by the lands of Glorall, memorized by it.

Her nervous glance shifts by towards the she-wolf before her, uncertain on how to go about talking about her injuries. To an extent she had put those thoughts away, locked up in a secret vault and the key thrown over the highest cliff. Come to think of it now, her limp had gotten better but she still did not expect it to fully heal. She does not meet d'Mani's gaze as she speaks. "foolish injury really.' She forces a bashful grin, as if to make her believe that it truly was an accidental injury. From a lowered head her eyes look up, a subtle yearning glow and her ears move forward. She wouldn't mind seeing if her wounds and her limp in her rear limbs. Maybe starting with the limp though. "I...I fell and well" Her shoulders give a shrug, she really wasn't sure why she was talking and to a stranger none the less. "I'm not much of a healer so yes, any help would be greatly appreciated." She gave a smile, one that seemed to say 'please don't ask'. Latika wasn't ready to remember, just talking to a stranger was a big step for her, even if this stranger unwillingly took her. Which made her think, why? Why did she take her? She was a lonely injured stranger to d'Mani as well. This question jumped around in her brain, her curiosity twisting it around it's fingers but did she have the courage to ask it? More shifting of her eyes before she took courage by the bit and pull forward. "Why, did you take me?" her voice quivered a bit and she stumbled over her words, this was something she would regret saying in the past, let hope times were changing.
