Aplos Riverside

Moladion’s powerful, winding river...
Aplos River is a broad, slow-moving river originating from somewhere beneath the mountains of Spirane and feeding Iromar’s moors in the south. The northern parts of the river are known for their strong currents, with the water becoming slow moving in the south. The riverbanks vary along its course, ranging from soft hummock grasses to small groups of pine, and sometimes nothing but pebbles and sand. Crossing can be difficult at times, but it can be swam or bridged by fallen trees or boulders alike.

The growl had been heard and the teeth spotted but he had chosen to ignore it; he was, for the most part, unphased by the anger of others. In his knowledge of just how rapidly he could be distracted from anger, he assumed others were just like him - an assumption that had not yet failed him. Even then, his words seemed to hush the girl's growl, but he allows her a moment of silence and time to free of herself of her confinement. He was... undecided whether or not to take her den, really. Sure, it was cold but with her out of it now, he could see just how quickly it could have become uncomfortable for him - besides, the area in which she had chosen to make one was... not so much his style. In any sense, stealing was frowned upon and he would not make allies with such actions - instead, he would offer her aid in finding a better location, a safer location and he would offer her company. That was how you made allies or so he was lead to believe. His mother had never really been good at it.

He chuckled lightly at her comment, brandishing a toothy grin as his brow slid up his features. Shifting himself, he took another look into the chamber of her den before glancing back with an easy wave of his tail.

"I can believe that - you were quite well hidden. I'm just glad I spotted you before I landed a tooth or two in my face - so thank you, for not trying to maim me."

Foxtail - a right fitting name judging by not only her colouration but really, her build too. He'd always wondered what had inclined his mother to name her children as she did - he had never asked though he had accepted his name to have some reference to a shape of power. It was an obscure name but he could find no other more suited. He dipped his head in acknowledgement of her introduction before his ear fluttered back - they had been alone.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Foxtail," he grinned before rising, "I am Tessract. We will have some company shortly."

Only some moments after he had spoken did the other arrive; he smelt of Diveen and did not hesitate to begin his bombardment of words. Tesseract looked to Foxtail, grinning sheepishly before stepping aside slightly and returning his attention to Tenshi's form. Act polite - all strangers were potential allies even if the smaller boy's enthusiasm far outweighed Tesseract's own. With another brief dip of his skull, he offered Tenshi nothing more - no shake of his tail, simply a nod of acknowledgement before speaking.

"Tesseract," he merely introduced himself as, offering no more than that - as a wolf of Diveen, undoubtedly this Tenshi would pick up on the cloak of Iromar's aroma that laced his pelt, "And I believe their is a saying, no? Finder's keepers?"

He chuckled lightly at his own humour before sinking back onto his haunches, a silent motion that ensured the smaller male knew Tesseract had no intentions on leaving the girl until she said otherwise. He did not know what this meeting had been but, well, they had him curious now.
